He reassuringly comforted her, promising that everything would be resolved. However, Mei Weiwei sensed he was hiding something. The next day, Mei Weiwei received a call from Mai Sichong's mother and, after a brief instruction to Yu Xin and Baihui, rushed off, leaving them confused by her hurried departure. Mai Sichong's mother had called Mei Weiwei to persuade Mai Sichong to take the doping test. From his mother's words, Mei Weiwei realized that Mai Sichong had also deceived her.

Li Daixi and Mei Weiwei then spoke to Jun Jun, who mentioned Xia Rui had been present at the time of the incident. Independently, Mai Sichong also heard Xia Rui's name from Peng Pai.
