Han Di and Lin Tiannuo woke up, with Lin Tiannuo asking Han Di to turn around so he could change. Both mentioned having busy work schedules. Lin Tiannuo said he would take a shower first and told Han Di to call him if "that man," presumably Gao Yaowen, bothered her again. After Lin Tiannuo left, Han Di retreated to the changing room.

She reflected on her desire for happiness and love, questioning the pursuit of love when it often leads to disappointment, unlike hard work which guarantees results. She remembered Lin Tiannuo's tender words from the previous night, how he expressed concern and said her words pained his heart. She admitted that while she had heard such sweet nothings before, hearing them from him unexpectedly brought her to the verge of tears.

Youyou happily shared with her shop manager that she had successfully passed the preliminary round of the International Nail Art Contest and was now preparing for the first round. She explained the rules for the first round, which involved uploading her art to the competition website for online public voting.

Inspired by a past magazine cover shoot with Yi Han, she conceived a new design featuring colored shells as an inlay setting, new line drawing styles, and symbols of a groom's necktie and a bride's crown, meant to represent two hearts joining. The manager fully supported her, approving her plan to offer her competition pieces as new store products with a 20% discount.

The manager even suggested that Yi Han promote her work, but Youyou initially hesitated, feeling it would be unfair to other contestants. The manager dismissed her concerns, urging her to leverage her advantages. Later, Youyou directly asked Yi Han to promote her nail art on his Weibo. Yi Han expressed some difficulty, explaining that his agency managed his account.

Youyou passionately articulated her professional dreams, comparing her ambition in nail art to his pursuit of Grammy or Oscar awards, emphasizing the artistic value and personal connection in her work. Yi Han promised to discuss it with Han Di. After their conversation, Youyou called Ran Zishu, who, despite admitting to having some fake followers, offered to promote Youyou's work on her own Weibo, dismissing Yi Han's agency's excuse.

Shortly after, Youyou discovered her own Weibo post about the contest had accumulated over 2,000 negative comments, filled with hateful and disparaging remarks about her nail art. Yi Han found Youyou distraught in the restroom. Discovering the barrage of hateful comments on her Weibo, which called her nail art "ugly" and an "embarrassment," he immediately called his assistant, Dawei, to investigate. Dawei reported that the negative comments were computer-generated, not from real people, and the perpetrator was unknown.

Yi Han rejected the idea of buying fake fans, insisting on a more principled approach. He instructed Dawei to create multiple small accounts and report all the malicious posts, stating that even if they couldn't eliminate all, a significant reduction would be considered a victory. When Dawei questioned Yi Han's unusual concern for Youyou's competition, Yi Han firmly stated that while his interest in the competition was his own business, he would not tolerate anyone bullying his wife online.

Thanks to Yi Han's swift actions and the support of his fans, the wave of negative comments against Youyou subsided. He personally posted on Weibo, sharing "little episodes between us as a couple" and promoting Youyou's nail art. This generated a flood of positive comments and attracted numerous customers to her salon, eager for her popular tie design. Youyou's spirits were lifted. She called Yi Han, who informed her that Han Di had approved his Weibo post.

They made plans for dinner at 10 PM after work. As Youyou finished up a drawing alone in the now-empty salon, unaware, Sun Qingqing watched her from outside the door, confirming that she was indeed behind the malicious online attacks. Sun Qingqing then made a phone call to check on her hired online ghostwriters. At a crew birthday celebration for Lisa, Yi Han's assistant, Dawei, presented Yi Han with a new contract for "Whose Son Are You?"

, which Dawei had secured. Dawei and Yi Han briefly discussed the anti-campaign for Youyou, with Dawei crediting Han Di for most of the effort. As Han Di joined Yi Han for a toast with the crew, Lin Tiannuo arrived. Seeing him, Han Di became visibly flustered, quickly put down her glass, told Yi Han she needed to leave, and made a hasty exit. Yi Han and Dawei were perplexed by her unusual behavior.

Lin Tiannuo then proceeded to pick up the very glass Han Di had just used and toasted Lisa, much to Yi Han’s visible surprise. Lin Tiannuo tried repeatedly to call Han Di, but she ignored his calls. He then left her a lengthy voice message. He explained that despite them returning to her home and drinking that night, nothing actually happened, so she shouldn't feel awkward around him.

He clarified that his primary reason for calling was to retrieve a very important watch he believed she had taken after they were drunk. He had refrained from asking in person because she had been hiding, but now hoped she could help him find it. He then proposed that they make their "fake relationship" real and start dating. Han Di, however, only listened to a portion of the message.

She grew frustrated with his persistence, believing he was clinging to her, and decided she didn't have time to debate with him, deleting the message before hearing about the watch or his proposal. Yi Han's suspicions about Lin Tiannuo grew after witnessing him use Han Di's glass. He shared this with Youyou, who initially dismissed it as normal among close acquaintances.

However, when Yi Han hypothetically asked her reaction to him drinking from another woman's glass, she vehemently opposed it, calling it an "indirect kiss" and highlighting her double standards. On set, Yi Han intently observed Lin Tiannuo. His assistant, Ran Zishu, also noticed Lin Tiannuo's recent unusual changes – daily outfit changes and a cologne scent – concluding he must be in love.

When Ran Zishu showed Yi Han a video she secretly took of Lin Tiannuo talking on the phone, appearing to say "Youyou," Yi Han's jealousy intensified, and he believed Lin Tiannuo's character was flawed. He expressed to Dawei his intent to terminate his partnership with Lin Tiannuo, but Dawei teased him about being jealous. Meanwhile, Lin Tiannuo arrived at Youyou's home to cook for her, as she had injured her hand.

He asked her to film a video for her WeChat Moments. Youyou, sensing his ulterior motives, initially hesitated, fearing Yi Han's reaction. She correctly deduced that Lin Tiannuo wanted to show the video to "a certain woman." Just as Yi Han called Lin Tiannuo to discuss ending their collaboration, Lin Tiannuo intentionally made Youyou answer his phone. Yi Han was enraged to hear Youyou's voice. Youyou, noticing Lin Tiannuo's suppressed smile, directly confronted him about using her.

Lin Tiannuo openly admitted his "ulterior motives," explaining his goal was to make Han Di jealous, hoping that "occasional jealousy will make the bond better." He revealed Han Di was his true target, stating she didn't care about him, so he had to "work for the enemy to get the job done." He then playfully attempted to feed Youyou. Yi Han, furious, announced on the phone that he was going home.

Meanwhile, Gao Lang confronted Sun Qingqing for orchestrating the online attack against Youyou. Sun Qingqing expressed her impatience, detailing her fallen status from an actress and nail artist to a restaurant waitress, her hands ruined by menial labor, and her desire for immediate revenge against Yi Han and Youyou. She dismissed Gao Lang's commitment, assuming his grudge against Yi Han was minor. Gao Lang, however, exploded in anger, revealing a much deeper, darker motive: Yi Han "killed his sister," explaining his intense hatred and desire for revenge.
