Zhang Sinian impatiently drove off to find Yun Shu. When Yun Shu saw that Huo Qi had stopped her, she was directly taken to meet someone. When Zhang Sinian tried to call Yun Shu, he couldn’t get through no matter how many times he tried. Left with no choice, he went to Lawyer Meng. Upon checking the surveillance footage, he finally realized that Yun Shu had been taken away by her cousin.
After carefully reviewing the footage, Lawyer Meng noticed that one of the people involved seemed to have a connection to Brother Tu and wanted to call the police, but Zhang Sinian stopped him. Yun Shu was taken by her cousin Huo Qi to meet Brother Tu. She was extremely nervous inside and couldn’t understand what was going on—her cousin had clearly said they were going to meet their uncle, but now he was kneeling in front of Brother Tu.
Brother Tu told Yun Shu that her cousin had borrowed money from him but had failed to repay the debt. Yun Shu immediately questioned her cousin about deceiving her out of over two million yuan and still getting involved in loan sharks. Her cousin had no choice but to confess that he had lost everything in real estate and stock speculation as well as gambling.
Her cousin pleaded with Yun Shu to help him figure out a solution, and Yun Shu had no choice but to stay. Yun Lan recalled the dates she had with Lu Yu and, after some hesitation, agreed to a dinner invitation from President Han. In the end, Zhang Sinian took Yun Shu and Huo Qi away, and promised Brother Tu that he would transfer the money into his account by noon the next day. Gao Zhiyi, feeling furious, grabbed a weapon and planned to take revenge on Gu Xiao. Lin Nuo couldn’t stop her and decided to help Gao Zhiyi get revenge instead.
