Gao Ling was packing things for Mr. Gao. Tan Shasha brought two books over and asked Gao Ling to take them to Mr. Gao to relieve boredom. Gao Ling then called Tan Shasha over and asked her about Lin Xi and Xiao Yicheng. Tan Shasha told her she had wanted to tell her a long time ago, but she hadn't given her a chance.

Tan Shasha felt that Xiao Yicheng explained things clearly in front of everyone today, which was very manly, and that Lin Xi hadn't done anything wrong either. Gao Ling thought Xiao Yicheng was quite outstanding, wondering why he fell for Lin Xi. Tan Shasha told her there was nothing bad about Lin Xi and told Gao Ling about her boyfriend. Gao Ling asked Tan Shasha who that person was and where he worked.

Tan Shasha told her his name was Wei Tian and he was her colleague. Gao Ling asked her which department Wei Tian was in. As soon as Tan Shasha said the Key Account Department, Gao Ling became unhappy. She knew the Key Account Department was under Lin Xi, and she felt that Tan Shasha and Wei Tian were not a good match in terms of family background. Tan Shasha didn't want to talk to her about this anymore.

Just then, Wei Tian called, asking her to go out with him to meet friends. Xiao Yicheng saw that Lin Xi was very unhappy and asked her if she wanted to go eat dessert together. Lin Xi wasn't in the mood, so Xiao Yicheng said he would pick her up after work tomorrow to visit her grandfather. Lin Xi said she could just drive there by herself. Xiao Yicheng thought Lin Xi was angry because of that incident.

Xiao Yicheng kept apologizing to Lin Xi. Lin Xi couldn't help but laugh and told him she wasn't angry. They went out to eat supper together. Lin Xi asked Xiao Yicheng if he knew about the collection of Li Bai's poems. Xiao Yicheng said he knew, thinking it was Gao Ling's famous work. Lin Xi told him that the book was actually translated by Gao Wenli and it took her three years of time and effort.

However, the final attribution was Gao Ling's. Xiao Yicheng told Lin Xi that based on Mr. Gao's reaction at the banquet today, there seemed to be something difficult to express about this matter. Xiao Yicheng told Lin Xi that it was better to clarify this matter so that the gap between them wouldn't deepen.

Xiao Yicheng felt that Gao Ling might have always wanted to become someone like Gao Wenli, but she couldn't, so she had always lived in her shadow. Lin Xi felt that she understood Gao Ling very well because she was also like that; although she was very resistant to the Gao family, she still wanted to become a translator like Mr. Gao.

But Lin Xi felt she was happier than Gao Ling because she had Xiao Yicheng by her side all the time. Cheng Yao was angrily packing his luggage in the room. The hotel staff knocked on the door. He asked Cheng Yao if he knew about checking out. Cheng Yao said he knew but had a lot of things. The hotel staff said their hotel offered luggage packing service. Cheng Yao saw he couldn't stall anymore and prepared to compromise.

Just then, Peter appeared in time. He cried and fussed, wanting Cheng Yao to build Lego with him. Peter said he had long realized that Cheng Yao was reluctant to leave him and Tong Xin. Cheng Yao originally didn't want to admit it. Peter then said he would call Tong Xin's secretary right now to help Cheng Yao find a place to live. Cheng Yao quickly stopped Peter. Peter quickly asked Cheng Yao to get him eye drops.

After Tong Xin returned, Peter kept crying, asking Cheng Yao to stay and build Lego with him. Tong Xin told Peter to stop making trouble and that she could build Lego with him. While they were arguing, Xiao Yicheng and Lin Xi arrived. They saw through Cheng Yao's intentions. They helped Cheng Yao stay, and Peter was very happy.

On the way back, Lin Xi felt that Cheng Yao was quite good, and Peter also liked Cheng Yao, and it was quite good for him to be with Tong Xin. Xiao Yicheng felt that Tong Xin had been hurt and had many concerns, and Cheng Yao was too simple. Lin Xi felt that this could just heal Tong Xin. Wei Tian took Tan Shasha to play basketball.

Tan Shasha stood on the side under the strong sun, waiting for Wei Tian. Wei Tian walked over and saw that Tan Shasha's face was very red. He told his friends he wouldn't play anymore and left with Tan Shasha. Tan Shasha's photodermatitis flared up. Gao Ling applied medicine for her and talked to her. Tan Shasha told her not to talk and that she just wanted to apply some medicine.
