Xiao Yicheng left with Peter. Peter asked him if he did well today, and Xiao Yicheng praised him, saying he did very well. So Peter asked Xiao Yicheng for a reward. Xiao Yicheng told him that the ice cream would be put on his tab. Peter said he admitted Xiao Yicheng was very outstanding, but that Brother Cheng Yao hangs around Aunt Lin Xi every day.

He has to go to school during the day and can't help Xiao Yicheng keep an eye on her all the time. Xiao Yicheng told him to know when to stop. Peter felt that he wouldn't be able to get a wife like this. As they were talking, a real estate agent brought a man to look at the house opposite Lin Xi's. The man thought the price of the house was too expensive.

Xiao Yicheng quickly followed the real estate agent. He told Peter he had an idea. On the way back after having dinner together, Wei Tian and Tan Shasha, Wei Tian received a phone call. He told the person on the other end of the phone that his mother was urging them to get married and asked her to give his mother a specific time. Tan Shasha heard that Wei Tian had a girlfriend.

Lin Xi then transferred money to Wei Tian, asking him to cover Chen Wen's breakfast and lunch this month. Xiao Yicheng knocked on Lin Xi's door. Lin Xi asked him why he was here again, and Xiao Yicheng told her he was here to bring her a housewarming gift. Xiao Yicheng asked Lin Xi to help him tidy his house. Lin Xi told him they should keep their distance, saying what she said that day was true. Xiao Yicheng then told her that since there were no feelings involved, why couldn't she help an ordinary friend tidy their room. He felt that the more Lin Xi avoided him, the more it proved she felt guilty. Lin Xi had no choice but to help Xiao Yicheng tidy his room.

Ling Feng called Lin Xi asking for her help in an emergency. He told Lin Xi he was right outside her door. As soon as Lin Xi opened the door, she saw Ling Feng with his dog, San Gongzhu (Third Princess), asking Lin Xi to help him take care of her. Lin Xi told him it was very inconvenient for her and refused Ling Feng.

But Ling Feng was in a hurry to catch a flight, so he left San Gongzhu with Lin Xi and left. Just then, Xiao Yicheng saw them and told Lin Xi that he could help her take care of the dog. Lin Xi and Cheng Yao were chatting on the balcony. Cheng Yao asked Lin Xi if she also wanted to relive the old days with Xiao Yicheng, and if that was why she was working so hard.

Lin Xi told him that she just didn't want to look back years later and have regrets. Only then did Cheng Yao feel that he had judged her with a small-minded perspective. Lin Xi came to Xiao Yicheng's house to see San Gongzhu. She sent photos to Ling Feng. Ling Feng then asked Lin Xi to give San Gongzhu a bath, saying he left in a hurry and didn't have time to wash her.
