Mr. Swimmer Episode 19 Recap
> Mr. Swimmer Recap
Song Chacha and Bai Yongze were stranded in Australia. Song Chacha proactively took Bai Yongze to participate in an Australian day trip. The two took photos together, rode tandem bicycles, and ate popcorn, looking just like a sweet, hot-in-love couple, exactly as Li Bao, who had just gotten off the plane and was sulking, had imagined. Lan Tian and his group returned to the hotel.
Lan Xin personally greeted them at the entrance; in fact, she wanted to see Coach Huang. As soon as Lan Tian got out of the car, he went to the golf course to find Chairman Lan. Chairman Lan told Lan Tian that the media already knew the group's finances were in trouble and he needed Lan Tian's help. Lan Tian would win a rank in a swimming competition, and then, through packaging and publicity, cover up the financial situation.
Lan Tian's condition was that if he won a rank, he would propose to Song Chacha. After Lan Tian returned, he felt very resentful thinking of Chacha with Bai Yongze. Song Chacha and Bai Yongze finally managed to book a hotel room, which happened to be a double bed. The two sat side by side on the bed, and their eyes met, making them want to kiss. Just then, Song Chacha's phone rang; it was Lan Tian.
Chacha said she was at the hotel and that her passport was found in her bag. Lan Tian's suspicions grew stronger. He called Bai Yongze but couldn't get any clear answers, so he called hotels one by one to inquire. The hotel only stated that Song Chacha was staying with two people and wasn't in the room at that moment. Lan Tian shouted in anger to vent his frustration.
Song Chacha and Bai Yongze went for a stroll in the square, danced, and watched fireworks; it was very romantic and happy, so much so that when Song Chacha returned, she said she felt like she had been sleepwalking in Wonderland today. Bai Yongze slept uncomfortably on the floor. Song Chacha told him to sleep on the bed and then fell asleep herself. Bai Yongze, unable to sleep, went out for a walk.
The next morning, Song Chacha woke up and saw Bai Yongze's dark circles. She asked him why he still couldn't sleep well even if he slept on the bed. Bai Yongze, exasperated, called her "little elementary school student" again and said that sleeping up there would make him sleep even worse. Bai Yongze told her to quickly pack her things and go to the airport.
Song Chacha asked if they could play for one more day, saying she didn't want to go back. She confessed that she had deliberately said her passport was lost just to be with Bai Yongze, asking him not to push her away anymore. Bai Yongze, however, told her to wake up from her dream quickly and that they were done. Lan Tian called Song Chacha several times, but she hung up each time.
He checked Song Chacha's flight and arrived at the airport on time. Chacha walked towards Lan Tian as she had agreed with Bai Yongze. When Bai Yongze saw Lan Tian embrace Song Chacha, his chest pain flared up, and he fainted on the ground. Bai Yongze woke up in a hospital bed and saw Song Chacha as soon as he opened his eyes. He blamed Song Chacha for not listening.
Chacha made up a reason, explaining that she had originally left but returned to get a gift for Lan Tian, only to find Bai Yongze collapsed on the ground. So, she called an ambulance and then went back with Lan Tian. She wanted to stay and take care of Bai Yongze but was dismissed from her role as his private chef, leaving the ward angrily.
Lan Tian, driving his sports car, arrived at the hospital just then to pick her up. Song Chacha told Lan Tian about Bai Yongze's condition. Lan Tian told her to attend her training classes properly and that he would handle Bai Yongze's illness. The doctor told Bai Yongze that his physical examination showed no problems and that it might be a psychological issue, giving him Fang Jingjing's business card.
Bai Yongze returned to the resort, where Lan Tian was waiting for him with a tennis racket. They had met and become good friends through playing tennis; one could say Bai Yongze had saved Lan Tian with tennis. Today, Lan Tian also gave him a "salvation-type" match. The two lay on the ground, drenched in sweat and panting, having a long-overdue conversation between friends.
Lan Tian said that Bai Yongze was his boomerang – no matter how far he threw it, it would always come back. He said their relationship had gone astray, but they would definitely not separate. The two men talked and laughed, seemingly returning to how things used to be. Coach Huang called Song Chacha for a talk, saying that during this external training, only Bai Yongze had not improved but had regressed. He asked Song Chacha if there was anything she hadn't told him. Just then, Lan Tian entered and directly informed Coach Huang about Bai Yongze's illness.
