> Mr. Honesty Recap

Influenced by her father He Yuliang's manipulative words, He Yuwen gave Fang Zhiyou's design for the Zhiwu Academy project to him. Subsequently, Mr. Wei announced that Fond's board had chosen Liangshan's design and publicly accused Square & Circle of plagiarism, reserving the right to pursue legal action. Stunned, Fang Zhiyou was confronted by He Yuwen, who confessed everything.

She admitted to giving his design to her father and then lying to Mr. Wei by claiming Fang Zhiyou had instructed her to steal He Yuliang's work, thus framing him as the plagiarist. He Yuwen tearfully declared that Fang Zhiyou was the only man she had ever loved, recounting the hardships she endured with him. She expressed deep resentment towards Xu Yiren, whom she accused of repeatedly deceiving Fang Zhiyou.

He Yuwen asserted that she had secured the Zhiwu Academy project and could not bear to see it become Xu Yiren's wedding gift, stating she would rather destroy it than let them have it. Fang Zhiyou retorted that her actions were not love but a lowly possessive desire. He concluded that winning or losing no longer mattered; he had lost a dear friend and partner, as He Yuwen had become a stranger to him.

Fang Zhiyou recounted his painful history with He Yuliang, who had been his admired mentor since university. After graduation, Fang Zhiyou joined Liangshan, where He Yuliang continued to guide him. However, several years ago, He Yuliang stole Fang Zhiyou's design for the Tianyi Art Gallery, a project Fang Zhiyou had spent over six months creating. He Yuliang used the stolen design to win a prestigious award. This profound betrayal led Fang Zhiyou to sever ties and establish Square & Circle.

At the time, He Yuwen, unable to accept her father's actions and driven by her affection for Fang Zhiyou, left Liangshan with him, a pattern of behavior that had now repeated itself, but this time with her betraying Fang Zhiyou. Fang Zhiyou explained that his former mentor, fearing his own creative decline and unwilling to be forgotten, resorted to plagiarism when he lacked inspiration. He Yuliang met with Fang Zhiyou, pressuring him to admit to plagiarism.

He promised that if Fang Zhiyou confessed, he would persuade Fond not to sue Square & Circle for breach of contract, thereby saving the company and salvaging Fang Zhiyou's reputation. Though he hated lies, Fang Zhiyou considered the offer to protect his company and colleagues from ruin. However, his team vehemently rejected the idea, insisting they could not admit to a crime they didn't commit and that Fang Zhiyou would cease to be their idol if he conceded.

They warned that while losing the project was a blow, an industry-wide reputation for plagiarism would destroy both him and Square & Circle. Bolstered by their unwavering support, Fang Zhiyou resolved to fight back and expose He Yuliang. Distraught, He Yuwen drank heavily and confessed her and her father's actions to Chen Qiming, including the plagiarism of the Tianyi Art Gallery design five years prior. Chen Qiming questioned her actions, warning she could ruin her career.

He Yuwen, feeling she had nothing left, claimed she didn't care as long as she could destroy Fang Zhiyou. Chen Qiming, while admitting his own jealousy of Fang Zhiyou, asserted that He Yuwen was not like her father and couldn't live with such guilt. He urged her to reveal the truth, emphasizing that stealing a designer's work was like stealing their child. Desperate, He Yuwen begged Chen Qiming to take her away, promising to marry him if he did.

Realizing He Yuliang's design had omitted the crucial sail structures from his original plan, Fang Zhiyou devised a strategy. He and his team worked through the night to build a physical model. The next day, he dramatically interrupted the signing ceremony between Fond and Liangshan, urging Mr. Wei to reconsider partnering with a plagiarist. Presenting both design blueprints, Fang Zhiyou highlighted their similarities before pointing out the key difference: the two boat sail-shaped structures in his design.

He then unveiled his model and demonstrated that removing the sails caused the entire structure to collapse. He explained that a portion of the site was unstable sandy soil, and the sails were a critical safety feature. He Yuliang, unaware of their structural purpose, had carelessly removed them. As He Yuliang tried to dismiss it as a mere design flaw, He Yuwen arrived and confessed everything. She publicly admitted to stealing the design for her father and framing Fang Zhiyou.

She then exposed her father's past plagiarism of the Tianyi Art Gallery design, revealing the true reason she and Fang Zhiyou had left Liangshan. Overwhelmed by the public disgrace, He Yuliang collapsed. Following her confession and her father's collapse, He Yuwen decided to leave Square & Circle.

Before departing on a journey with Chen Qiming, she told Fang Zhiyou that while she was sorry for her words, she wasn't sorry for her actions, as she felt he owed her for the past, but now they were even. She revealed her father had suffered a stroke, an outcome she felt he deserved. He Yuwen and Chen Qiming planned to travel extensively, letting their relationship evolve naturally.

As she left, Fang Zhiyou gave her a final hug, wishing her well. Meanwhile, Fang Zhiyou prepared for his wedding. After Xu Yiren and her friends humorously struggled to fit her into a tight gown she had picked because he liked it, he surprised her with a unique, custom-designed dress he had secretly made. At the ceremony, Fang Zhiyou delivered a heartfelt speech, admitting that while he had always hated lies, Xu Yiren had become his one exception.

He described marriage as a "big lie" that promises eternal happiness, acknowledging it also involves arguments and misunderstandings. But because it was Xu Yiren by his side, he believed all lies could become truth. He declared that all his life experiences were preparation to meet her and that despite her imperfections, she was always "full marks" in his heart. Pledging to love and cherish her forever, he promised that every day would be her happiest. As they kissed, guests released balloons, showering the couple in blessings.
