Lu Wanwan had just reached out to hit Han Jingmo's face, but he suddenly opened his eyes, startling her. She quickly retracted her hand, pretending to simply be fanning him. At that moment, her brother Lu Guanghan called. Though Han Jingmo reminded her that phones must be muted on set, he allowed her to take the call outside.
Lu Guanghan scolded Lu Wanwan for becoming Han Jingmo's assistant and demanded she return home, mentioning that their family was dealing with Lin Wei regarding a contract and questioning if they couldn't support her, making her work for "that Han kid." Lu Wanwan, however, ignored his warnings, becoming frantic upon hearing that Gu Qiaobei was arriving at the set, and she hastily went to find him, disregarding Lu Guanghan.
Witnessing Lu Wanwan's fan-like devotion to Gu Qiaobei clearly annoyed Han Jingmo. He first misled her by claiming Gu Qiaobei disliked being called "Xiao Qiao" and preferred "Qiao Qiao." Then, he sarcastically suggested that "Qiao Qiao" particularly liked chilled grapes, which Lu Wanwan eagerly purchased. However, Han Jingmo later revealed that it was "he" who actually loved grapes, consuming all the ones Lu Wanwan had bought, much to her fury.
After dinner with Lu Guanghan, where Lu Wanwan vented her frustrations, Lu Guanghan initially suggested she resign or get fired. Lu Wanwan, however, showed him photos of herself with Gu Qiaobei, arguing that if she continued as Han Jingmo's assistant, she could gather insider information, including Gu Qiaobei's address, to help Lu Guanghan sign him. Lu Guanghan, a talent agency boss, eventually agreed, acknowledging that working for Han Jingmo might toughen her up for the entertainment industry.
He also praised Gu Qiaobei's past acting in indie films, emphasizing his talent. Then, Lu Wanwan, eager to play, immediately logged into the game world as her character Chu He. Between Ink White reminded Chu He of the high stakes, emphasizing that her failure would be an embarrassment because he had personally trained her, and everyone knew she was "the one Great Master likes." Despite the pressure, Chu He fought bravely.
Though she initially struggled, she made a desperate comeback to secure victory, much to Lu Wanwan's excited shouts. After the match, a male player defeated by Chu He started persistently following her, calling her "big sister." Between Ink White, witnessing this, casually made the boy disappear from the game. Suddenly, Gu Qiaobei rushed to the set to inform Han Jingmo that Yiwei had been in a car accident and was hospitalized.
Both men quickly left for the hospital, but Han Jingmo did not forget to tell Lu Wanwan that she didn't need to come to work that day. At the hospital, Han Jingmo and Gu Qiaobei met Yan Shengkai, who had bravely saved Yiwei from the accident by holding the steering wheel. Yan Shengkai, a new and unnoticed member of the film crew, humbly acknowledged them.
To show her gratitude, Yiwei requested Han Jingmo and Gu Qiaobei to look out for Yan Shengkai and help her career, which they promised to do. With an unexpected day off, Lu Wanwan logged into the game world, where she was immediately ambushed and bullied by players from the ABCC gang. They accused her of causing "Liunian Huakai," Between Ink White's acknowledged in-game girlfriend, to leave the game.
Just as things looked dire, Between Ink White appeared, declaring protectively that "nobody can bully my people." He came to her aid, forcing the bullies to retreat, while other players rallied around her, some even calling her "Mistress". Afterward, Between Ink White and Chu He visited Nuan to accept a mission to capture Snow Foxes. This led them to a vast, snowy landscape where they playfully engaged in a snowball fight.
They searched for the elusive Snow Foxes for a long time without success. The mission ended in failure when they were unexpectedly attacked by a Snow Fox, causing Chu He's death in the game. Han Jingmo's car was stuck in a traffic jam, and he called Lu Wanwan to bring him a specific branded watch he had left at her place. Lu Wanwan, seeing the long line of cars, teased him about being late for work.
As she turned to leave, Han Jingmo called her back and, to her dismay, snatched her pink bicycle without asking. Unfazed by its color, Han Jingmo rode off. Annoyed, Lu Wanwan snapped a photo of him riding the pink bike and posted it online, vowing to "use reality to teach him a lesson" for his ungratefulness.
In the game, Chu He, seeking ways to earn money, accepted a challenging "Mighty Escort" mission, which offered substantial rewards, including "five times the valuable goods." After a long and arduous journey through the desert, she acquired a carriage carrying these "red goods." As she continued her solitary journey, she was intercepted by the notorious player, Five Poisons, who had been boasting on the world channel about robbing the "five-fold escort" and aggressively demanded she hand over the goods.
Between Ink White arrived just in time. Instead of directly intervening in the fight, he encouraged Chu He to bravely face Five Poisons, promising to avenge her if she failed. Five Poisons easily defeated Chu He and successfully robbed the goods. As Five Poisons began to boast about his victory on a live stream, Between Ink White swiftly descended, defeating him and reclaiming the goods. Faced with defeat, Five Poisons had no choice but to admit his loss and comically beg for gifts from his live stream viewers.
