About Is Love 2 Episode 20 Recap
> About Is Love 2 Recap
Waking from a nightmare where Wei Qing was about to jump, Zhou Shi rushed to the balcony and embraced him tightly, believing he intended to harm himself. Wei Qing, surprised, asked her what she was doing. She retorted, demanding to know why he, a grown man, would choose suicide over facing difficulties. He clarified that he merely came out for fresh air because he couldn't sleep.
She realized they were only on the second floor, but still questioned his late-night stroll. He then complained that her snoring was too loud, preventing him from sleeping. Zhou Shi, embarrassed, pulled him back into the room. As she kept a watchful eye on him, he asked if she planned to stare at him all night. When she got up for water, he followed, asking if she was worried about him.
He assured her he was not weak and wouldn't easily give up, adding that if he died, there would be no one to protect her from bullies or comfort her when she cried. Zhou Shi playfully responded that only he dared to bully her. Wei Qing then promised to grow old with her, calling her the only "old lady" he needed, to which she affectionately called him a "smooth-talker" before urging him to get water so she could sleep.
After a romantic night, Lin Feifei prepared breakfast for Ning Fei, who, referring to himself as Xue Ning, declared he would be responsible for his actions toward her. Startled, Lin Feifei wondered if his memory recovery the previous night was just a drunken illusion. She tried to convince herself that even without his old memories, he was still Ning Fei, and whatever happened between them was acceptable.
Later, as Ning Fei happily recalled parts of their intimate night to a less enthusiastic Lin Feifei, the doorbell rang. Xue Le arrived, hoping to speak with Lin Feifei. Ning Fei, blocking the entrance, asserted himself as the "man of the house" and Lin Feifei's boyfriend, much to Xue Le's annoyance. Lin Feifei pulled Xue Le aside, who then asked if she disliked him because of Xue Zi.
Lin Feifei denied it, admitting that her distance was due to Ning Fei, whom she then publicly acknowledged as her boyfriend. Ning Fei beamed triumphantly. Xue Le, defeated, wished them the best and left. Lin Feifei then lamented that she had probably lost her chance at a leading role in a production. Ning Fei, still relishing her public declaration, insisted he was her boyfriend despite her protests that it was only to get rid of Xue Le.
Wei Qing and Li Mingcheng reviewed their progress, noting that most shareholders had signed on, with only one major shareholder remaining, who requested a face-to-face meeting. Wei Qing agreed and tasked Li Mingcheng with arrangements. Li Mingcheng then questioned why Wei Qing was keeping his plan from Zhou Shi, reminding him of her recent worries, even thinking he would do something foolish.
Wei Qing believed Zhou Shi's ignorance would protect her from being exploited by Xue Zi, promising to explain everything once the matter was resolved. Shifting to personal matters, Wei Qing asked Li Mingcheng to teach him a new dish, inspired by Zhou Shi's enjoyment of his previous soup. Li Mingcheng opted for a simple stir-fried tomatoes and eggs.
Wei Qing even started a live stream to document his cooking attempts, which proved to be quite clumsy, almost setting the kitchen on fire, as Lin Feifei alerted Zhou Shi by phone. Observing Wei Qing's public antics, Xue Le was lulled into a false sense of security, believing Wei Qing had truly abandoned Yunma to become an internet celebrity.
Confident he was now Yunma's de facto controller through Wei An and secretly siphoning off its assets, Xue Le boasted to Xue Zi on her birthday that he had won his competition against Wei Qing, presenting her with a painting titled "a dove occupying a magpie's nest," symbolizing his perceived victory. Zhou Shi, returning home and seeing Wei Qing's minor burns from his culinary exploits, informed him of Xue Le's schemes.
Wei Qing remained calm, assuring her that Xue Le was merely a praying mantis, unaware of the lurking oriole, and promised to make him repay double whatever he had taken. Believing that alcohol might trigger Ning Fei's memories, Lin Feifei intentionally encouraged him to drink more during dinner. Realizing her motive, Ning Fei defiantly took a crate of beer and locked himself in his room. Lin Feifei later found him unconscious from alcohol poisoning and rushed him to the hospital.
While he was comatose, fragments of his past memories, including those of Ning Fei, clashed with his current self. He resisted these memories fiercely. When he regained consciousness and overheard Lin Feifei, Zhou Shi, and Li Mingcheng discussing his memory recovery outside his hospital room (including the fact that his memory was recovering due to stopping medication, not alcohol, and their worry about his current self being lost), he fled.
Lin Feifei, distraught and regretting her actions, blamed herself for forcing him to remember. As she frantically searched for him, Ning Fei, having nowhere else to go, returned to Xue Zi's home. Xue Zi was relieved and happy to see him, assuring him that regardless of his memory, he was her beloved and only brother, and they would always be family. During the search, Bi Qiujing suddenly felt dizzy. Li Mingcheng quickly called for a nurse.
Fortunately, she was only suffering from low blood sugar, but the doctor also revealed that Bi Qiujing was not pregnant, which left both her and Li Mingcheng feeling a pang of disappointment, realizing their initial joy had been a false alarm. Xue Le grew agitated when the expected funds from Yunma failed to arrive. He furiously demanded to know the reason for the delay, asserting that it was time to reap the rewards of their scheme.
His investigation suggested Wei An was involved in the hold-up. When Xue Le confronted Wei An, threatening to expose his past misdeeds if he didn't comply, Wei An remained surprisingly composed. Wei An accused Xue Le of violating their original agreement, which was to use Yunma's strength to help Xue Le acquire Snow; instead, Xue Le now intended to seize Yunma for himself.
Xue Le, acknowledging his growing ambition, retorted that "Just as the river looks for the sea, humans seek to go higher," and that Snow was no longer enough for him. Wei An warned him not to bite off more than he could chew, calling him despicable and questioning why the Xue family chose to give their inheritance to an adopted daughter, Xue Zi, rather than their own son.
Xue Le, unmoved, threatened to expose Wei An’s secrets to the shareholders, warning that a "tainted person" like Wei An would not be believed, and advising him to cooperate if he wanted to be "spared some grub." At this critical moment, Wei Qing appeared, declaring, "There's no need for everyone to believe him. So long as I do."
