Wei An arrived at the villa to inform Xue Ning that he needed to move into a hotel temporarily. Xue Ning, initially defiant, protested, "He's obviously trying to kick me out. Why? Does he think of me as an eyesore?" Wei An bluntly replied, "To be honest with you, yes." Xue Ning called Wei Qing a "jerk" and insisted that he would not leave the villa, as Wei Qing had promised him residence there.
Wei An then used dogs to compel Xue Ning to comply. In the car, Wei An asked Xue Ning where he wished to go. Having lost his memories of past relationships, Xue Ning replied that he was "homeless now" and didn't know where to go. He again criticized Wei Qing for being "a jerk" who was doing this "for a woman."
Wei An clarified that Zhou Shi was "not just any other woman," but "the other half of Mr. Wei's soul," which Xue Ning found to be a cliché. As they drove, Xue Ning saw Lin Feifei's advertisement on a billboard, inspiring him to seek her out. Lin Feifei was at home, upset about a canceled sunscreen advertisement and her constant need to diet. She wished for a better love life.
Suddenly, Xue Ning arrived at her doorstep with a large hot pot delivery, which he had ordered. Lin Feifei initially refused to eat, citing her status as a "celebrity" and her need for "weight management." Zhou Shi, noticing the perfect fit, teased that it seemed "specially made for me," and asked if he kept any other women's clothing, which he quickly denied. To keep her at his house, Wei Qing insisted Zhou Shi relax on a massage chair while he made her tea. She resisted initially, but he playfully forced her into the chair, promising the massage would last about half an hour.

He called Bi Qiujing, but she didn’t answer. Rachel, summoned to his office, confirmed her decision to resign, but asked Li Mingcheng if he still remembered her from "seven years ago." Elsewhere, Bi Qiujing was at Lin Feifei’s apartment, silently drinking. Xue Ning discreetly moved away, allowing the two friends to talk. Lin Feifei asked Bi Qiujing what was wrong.

Zhou Shi then called Dr. Chen, inquiring about the mental health deterioration of a friend with "psychological sequela" who had missed medication for a week and whose whereabouts were unknown. Dr. Chen advised her to find him quickly. Zhou Shi realized the description likely fit Xue Ning and wondered why he had stopped taking his medication.
Thinking Zhou Shi had left, Wei Qing was heard talking to himself, remarking on how quickly "that girl" had departed. Li Mingcheng arrived at Lin Feifei's apartment to find a very drunk Bi Qiujing with a list of grievances against him. She insisted he answer each question in writing and email it to her. Ignoring her demands, Li Mingcheng simply picked her up and carried her home.
After they left, Xue Ning found another bottle of alcohol and poured drinks for himself and Lin Feifei. Lin Feifei informed him that Zhou Shi had called, but she had lied, saying Xue Ning wasn't there. She urged him to return home, but Xue Ning grew upset, feeling that since his amnesia, everyone only wanted the "old me" back and no one accepted his current self.
Lin Feifei angrily retorted that her memories of the past Xue Ning were "what I treasure the most" and that she wanted nothing to do with his current self, adding that he was "better than you in every sense." In a fit of anger, Lin Feifei drank the alcohol Xue Ning had poured. She suddenly felt dizzy, realizing too late that it was a "strong alcohol Bi Qiujing made in her experiment," and promptly fainted.
Xue Ning, who hadn't drunk any of it, stayed to care for her. The next morning, Lin Feifei awoke to find Xue Ning lying beside her. Startled, she tried to distance herself, but Xue Ning provocatively claimed she had "took the initiative" the previous night, urging her to "face the reality" and accept that she could "no longer say that you've got nothing to do with me." Enraged by his words, Lin Feifei slapped him.
Xue Ning, realizing that his teasing had backfired and he had received a slap after caring for her all night, reflected, "I shouldn't have teased her." He left the apartment and found Wei An waiting for him downstairs. Wei An asked where he wished to go, implying he still couldn't return to the villa. Xue Ning then made a request to Wei An, stating that if it was fulfilled, he would stop bothering Wei Qing, as Wei Qing "owes it to me."
