Hearing Xu Nuo's cries of agony, Ke Siyi felt assured and promptly fabricated an excuse to leave, claiming she needed a specific painkiller prepared by her father. Concerned, Xu Nuo urged her to be careful.
Ke Siyi then rushed to meet Lin Wen for training, insisting they only practice combat forms without actual hitting. She feared that if Xu Nuo discovered her secret boxing training, he might fire her. Later, Xu Nuo, still feeling the lingering pain, wondered aloud if she had taken her medicine, unaware of her true activities. The next day at the company, Xu Nuo saw Li Yunzhu, who was looking for Liang Zhixiao.

Observing her intense, jealous reaction, Wu Dongde speculated that she had developed feelings for Xu Nuo, which Ke Siyi fiercely denied. Ke Siyi continued to vent about Xu Nuo to Lin Wen and Weiwei, even using his name as a target during boxing practice and declaring him "the biggest scumbag in the world." On the ride, they both felt an electric sensation from their accidental physical contact, leading them to consciously avoid eye contact and become visibly awkward. At the restaurant, they coincidentally encountered Liang Zhixiao and Li Yunzhu. The dinner quickly became tense. A street vendor approached selling a single, wilting rose. Perplexed by her mood swings, Xu Nuo sought advice from Zhou Yanxin, who shrewdly deduced that Ke Siyi was jealous because she had feelings for him. Xu Nuo dismissed the idea, stating his kindness towards Li Yunzhu was merely gratitude for her saving his life, and insisted his standards wouldn't drop so low as to fall for Ke Siyi. The variety show's audition began with a demanding obstacle course.
Ke Siyi, wearing a mask to conceal her identity, competed as the "Masked Woman." While Zhou Yanxin watched the live stream, Xu Nuo, who was with him, suddenly collapsed, his face contorted in pain.
