As dawn broke, light filtered through the curtains, stirring Eva from her sleep. She was instantly alert upon seeing her chubby hands, realizing she had transformed back into Zhen Yuanyuan. Just as Eva moved, Ruan Dongsheng pulled her closer, murmuring for her not to move and to let him sleep longer.

Cornered, Xiao Nan drove Ruan Dongsheng to the airport, claiming Zhen Yuanyuan had gone abroad to get married to a husband who loved her deeply. He explained she had returned briefly only to fulfill a dream of seeing Ruan Dongsheng one last time before immigrating, and that Eva had helped by letting Zhen Yuanyuan spend the night with Ruan Dongsheng in her place.
Ruan Dongsheng remained skeptical until Xiao Nan showed him a photo of Zhen Yuanyuan's marriage certificate.
