She decided she could no longer run away and must face Jason with her Zhen Yuanyuan identity, even if it meant exposing her secret and risking non-forgiveness. Meanwhile, Luo Yiren returned to work at Qing Corporation and apologized to Ruan Dongsheng for her previous abrupt actions.
Ruan Dongsheng assured her she didn't need to apologize and thanked her for returning to help Qing Corporation. Luo Yiren presented her analysis and report on Eva's current condition, suggesting that the best course of action was for Eva to directly apologize to Jason and explain the situation, which would also aid Qing Corporation's partnership with World Angel. Ruan Dongsheng, treating Luo Yiren as a friend, revealed Eva's secret, explaining that Eva couldn't apologize directly because her illness had worsened.
