However, her unusual toilet paper attire drew mocking crowds, with some people filming and live-streaming her. However, the doctor, perplexed by their dramatic reaction, clarified that Yiren only suffered from cervical spondylosis. The confusion arose because Yiren had misheard another patient's name, which sounded like a diagnosis of a terminal illness, due to the doctor's accent. Overjoyed by the news, Xiao Nan led Yiren away. Yiren, mortified by her past audacious attempts to seduce him now that she was not dying, excused herself to the bathroom, took off her wig, and secretly fled.
Back in Zhen Yuanyuan's storyline, Ni Hao deliberately hinted to Ruan Dongsheng that his mother had met with Eva on the day of her transformation. Suspicious, Ruan Dongsheng confronted his mother, who admitted to her actions, stating she wanted to open his eyes to Eva's "strange disease."
