Eva decided to fix the design flaw in Jason's dress herself. She explained that the problem of the skirt clinging to the ankles was due to the use of Jason silk, which generated static electricity during movement. Her solution was to add metallic sequins to the end of the skirt to dilute the static. When her friend asked how she came up with such a good idea, Eva mysteriously replied that "somebody" told her.
Xiao Nan drove Yiren to a high vantage point to watch the sunrise, keeping her eyes covered until they arrived. Yiren was surprised to be in such a high place and asked if his fear of heights was gone. Xiao Nan confirmed it was. He revealed that his acrophobia began when he was seven years old, after his parents divorced, and his mother held him on a balcony, threatening to jump as a way to threaten his father.
Xiao Nan told Yiren that she had cured him, transforming his memories of high places from bad to beautiful. He urged Yiren not to run away from her feelings, explaining that her presence made him forget all unhappy things and only remember happy memories. He brought her to see the sunrise, hoping she could happily watch it rise every day, with him. Yiren thanked him, and as the sun ascended, she impulsively kissed Xiao Nan.
Stunned, he tentatively asked if they were moving too quickly. Later, Yiren attempted to initiate intimacy with Xiao Nan, but he resisted. She fell from the bed, causing her arm to dislocate, and was subsequently taken to the hospital. Back at her place, Yiren, upset by Xiao Nan's rejection, insisted he leave. Xiao Nan apologized, explaining that he was simply caught off guard by her assertiveness, as such directness was typically expected from a man.
Yiren then tearfully confessed that she had blood cancer and only three months to live, calling her actions her "last wish." Xiao Nan was shocked and refused to believe her, vowing to travel the world to find a cure for her. They embraced and fell asleep together. Ruan Dongsheng gently tried to wake Eva for breakfast, calling her "Yuanyuan." Eva was still asleep, dreaming she was a man in the Tang dynasty, asking a "beauty" named Dong'er for a kiss.
Ruan Dongsheng, hearing this, expressed his displeasure at not being in her dream. Just then, the doorbell rang. Rebecca appeared, explaining she was going abroad for an event for about a week and Taotao had insisted on staying with Ruan Dongsheng and Eva. Rebecca, despite their busy schedules, asked them to care for Taotao. Taotao then directly asked Ruan Dongsheng and Eva when they would have a "little sister." As Rebecca departed, she encountered Ni Hao.
Ni Hao tried to sow discord by expressing sympathy for Rebecca's long-standing affection for Ruan Dongsheng and questioning her willingness to "give up to another woman." Rebecca, however, calmly stated that she had put in so much effort that she realized she should have let go sooner, and she now felt freer, declining any offer of help from Ni Hao and telling him to mind his own business. Ruan Dongsheng, Eva, and Taotao then went grocery shopping.
Eva picked out many snacks for Taotao, but Ruan Dongsheng advised against it, saying children shouldn't consume so many. Eva retorted that a childhood without snacks was incomplete. A passerby commented that they looked like a family but noted the "young dad" seemed strict. Back home, Taotao confided in Ruan Dongsheng, telling him he looked fierce when he didn't smile, and girls don't like fierce boys. She suggested he tell stories to Eva, as he wasn't fierce then.
Ruan Dongsheng then asked Taotao for a favor. Taotao purposely kept Eva busy telling stories until Eva became tired and asked for Ruan Dongsheng to join. Eva assumed he was asleep, but Ruan Dongsheng entered with milk and joined the storytelling. Eventually, Eva and Ruan Dongsheng fell asleep, and Taotao quietly slipped away to secretly eat a lollipop. The next morning, Eva woke to find Ruan Dongsheng beside her, initially thinking she was still dreaming.
She touched his face, feeling its reality. He greeted her, making her realize he was truly there. She questioned his presence in her bed and Taotao's whereabouts. Ruan Dongsheng revealed that Taotao had completed her "mission" and playfully suggested they should have a "little sister." Their conversation was interrupted by Ni Hao, who arrived to remind Ruan Dongsheng that he was half an hour late for the company's monthly general meeting.
Ruan Dongsheng quickly rushed to get ready, and Eva also remembered she had makeup work to do. Taotao then reminded them of their promise to take her to the amusement park. Ruan Dongsheng explained he had important work, but Eva decided to stay with Taotao, believing an adult should not break a promise.
Taotao, however, revealed that her mother had taught her the importance of work and that not attending could mean not earning money, buying treats, or being labeled a liar. Ni Hao then volunteered to take Taotao to the amusement park instead. As they were leaving, Eva noticed a white stain on Ni Hao's sleeve, which he claimed not to know the source of.
While at work, Eva saw a friend with a similar stain on her back, who confirmed it was paint from an event site. This immediately reminded Eva of the recent accident during the restaurant's groundbreaking ceremony. She returned to the site to investigate and suspected Ni Hao's involvement in the incident. Meanwhile, at the amusement park, Taotao expressed her desire to see a superhero movie.
Ni Hao tried to redirect her, but Taotao insisted, revealing that Eva had told her she could transform like the Hulk and was a superhero. Ni Hao, visibly shocked, pressed Taotao for more details about Eva's transformation. Later, Ruan Dongsheng's mother received an anonymous envelope containing photos of Eva transforming. Growing suspicious, she called Eva, feigning illness and asking her to accompany her to the hospital, explicitly stating she didn't want Ruan Dongsheng to know.
Eva canceled her work and asked her friend Sandy to cover for her by fabricating a story about disrupting an ex-boyfriend's wedding. At the hospital, after being informed her own blood pressure was slightly high, Ruan Dongsheng's mother insisted Eva undergo a full physical examination, citing Eva's modeling profession and rigorous diet. Eva agreed, assuming a routine check-up wouldn't detect her rare illness, and believed it would reassure her about her future ability to have children for Ruan Dongsheng.
However, Doctor Huang later called Ruan Dongsheng's mother, informing her that Eva's fat factor was abnormal. He diagnosed Eva with a rare condition commonly known as "balloon man," or congenital super easy to fat constitution, where she rapidly gains weight after consuming excess calories but returns to her original body after a period of metabolism. He noted that there were fewer than ten cases worldwide, with no harmful clinical manifestations, and a cure was still under study.
Subsequently, Ruan Dongsheng's mother invited Eva to dinner, ostensibly to thank her. When Eva explained she was on a diet for a rescheduled "World Angel" event and declined to eat, Ruan Dongsheng's mother insisted she have a meal. Eva then received a phone call and tried to excuse herself, but Ruan Dongsheng's mother offered her a glass of "energy water" to drink before leaving. Eva felt unwell immediately after consuming the water.
