When Jiang Baiyu accidentally got his hands dirty while writing, Shui Wuxia saw it and cleaned them with a lemon before he went to meet Jiang Hu, effectively removing any potential black marks. When Jiang Hu met with Jiang Baiyu, he inquired about Jiang Tianling's recent health, a pretext to observe Jiang Baiyu's hands.
Jiang Baiyu assured him that while his younger brother was still a bit weak, his spirits seemed high. Jiang Hu then offered Jiang Baiyu a cup of tea, which Jiang Baiyu accepted with his right hand. They readily agreed. As they discreetly helped him leave the mansion, the maids, nurses, and even Supervisor Hou pretended not to notice. Jiang Baiyu and others helped Jiang Tianling to meet Zhe Zhi. Seeing his struggle to walk, Zhe Zhi was heartbroken.

Jiang Tianling and Zhe Zhi went for a walk, enjoying their time together, while Fang Yuncheng and Qi Delong also ventured off on a romantic stroll.
Shui Wuxia went to buy Jiang Baiyu a limited-edition flavored cotton candy. Then, as he looked at a small fish and the fireworks exploding in the night sky, a flood of memories from his past life as Shen Qing Li rushed back to him.
