In his final moments, still unwilling to yield, Ming Xin declared he didn't need pity, regretting not dying by Ming Yi's hand after a lifetime of rivalry. He publicly exposed Ming Yi's true identity, testifying that she was Ming Xian, the former Crown Prince of Yaoguang Mountain who had caused Jixing Abyss seven years of defeat.

He revealed that for the past 21 years, she had used a Veil of Illusion to disguise herself as a male immortal and usurp the Crown Prince title. As proof, he cited the artifact "Embers," which only answered to her, and the spiritpact bell of her companion, the White Cat. Although many initially disbelieved him, the presence of the companion beast swayed public opinion.

Ming Xin challenged Ming Yi to deny her identity, asserting that after this revelation, the Six Realms would have no place for her. He ended by lamenting that the Crown Prince position should have rightfully been his, before dissipating. The news quickly spread to Jixing Abyss, sparking outrage. Crowds gathered, shouting for Ming Xian's expulsion from Shouhua Academy.

Yan Xiao attempted to calm them, arguing that Ming Yi, despite her past identity, had repeatedly saved Jixing Abyss and forged all the artifacts for the upcoming Qingyun Tournament, always standing with them. The crowd countered, fearing her past as Yaoguang's Crown Prince made her a threat who could collude with the enemy and ruin Jixing Abyss. Ming Yi stepped forward, admitting, "I am Ming Xian. If anyone has grievances, come at me."

This only fueled the calls for her to leave. Simultaneously, courtiers pressured the Emperor, accusing him of being blinded by her and urging him to arrest Ming Xian immediately, citing her past glory at Jixing Abyss's expense and suspected ulterior motives. They demanded justice and a swift decision. Ming Yi addressed the agitated crowd, acknowledging her past as Ming Xian and the seven years of defeat she inflicted on Jixing Abyss.

She clarified that her actions were for Yaoguang Mountain when she belonged to them, but now, seeing Jixing Abyss's plight, she wished to join Shouhua Academy's warrior ranks to reclaim the Blessed Rain. Faced with continued distrust, she offered a gamble: without her, they would lose again; with her, they might have a chance, and it would be their only chance to win.

To prove her sincerity, she challenged anyone to defeat her in an arena, promising to withdraw her request to join if she lost. When opponents voiced concerns about her powerful artifacts, she offered to fight without them. When they still hesitated, she declared she would fight without using her hands, and proceeded to swiftly defeat multiple challengers. Despite her prowess, the crowd remained skeptical of her loyalty.

At this pivotal moment, the Emperor intervened, proclaiming, "I will stake everything I have on this. Ming Yi will win back the Blessed Rain for Jixing Abyss." He vowed that if Ming Yi ever betrayed Jixing Abyss, he would personally execute her and then abdicate his throne. This powerful declaration quieted the unrest.

Ming Yi then revealed her true lineage, explaining that her birth mother was a descendant of Jixing Abyss's Bo clan, giving her the right to fight for them. She asked for one chance to protect Jixing Abyss from oppression. Her words, coupled with the Emperor's vow, finally won over the people, who erupted in chants for Jixing Abyss.

Fu Yue confronted Situ Ling, informing him that Ming Yi had formally joined Jixing Abyss's Shouhua Academy and urged him to give her up. She reminded him that Ming Yi now knew his true identity and about the innocent lives he had taken, making a relationship impossible. Fu Yue stressed that he could rule Zhushui Spiritual State if he forgot Ming Yi, but choosing her would debase him.

She recounted his past, how he killed his own brothers for Ming Yi in Jixing Abyss and now sacrificed living beings to practice illusory assassination, questioning if the blood on his hands could ever be cleansed. She tearfully asserted that Ming Yi never loved him and would never accept him now, especially since Fu Yue had been the one to suffer alongside him when he was bullied and without spiritual veins. Situ Ling responded, "Because you are not her!"

and then coldly dismissed her, saying he would soon have his own spiritual veins and would no longer need her. Later, alone, Situ Ling reflected on Fu Yue's most cherished memory being the day he saved her, while his own was the day Ming Yi saved him. He admitted he could never move on from Ming Yi but wished for Fu Yue to "live for yourself," revealing his intention to protect her from his path, despite his outward harshness.

Ji Bozai began training the Yaoguang warriors, stating his training had no set routine and they only needed to land half a move on him. When criticized for using artifacts, while Yaoguang traditionally did not, and for supposedly humiliating them, Ji Bozai retorted that their narrow-mindedness would not win battles. He argued that if they couldn't defeat an artifact with spiritual power, they wouldn't win the Qingyun Tournament.

He then provoked them by questioning their loyalty to Ming Xian, pointing out how quickly they turned on her after one defeat and now spoke of her with contempt, despite once hailing her as a Warrior God. Accusations arose that Ji Bozai was defending Ming Xian due to their past marriage, and was merely lecturing them.

Ji Bozai countered that his actions were solely as the Honorary Warrior leading them to the Qingyun Tournament, and challenged them to remember their identity as warriors. He urged them to stop their complaints, reminding them time was short and that victory, whether by spiritual power or artifacts, was the only thing that mattered. He commanded them to focus on strengthening themselves for Yaoguang Mountain.

Zhang Tai and Zheng Tiao decided to hold their wedding the following month in Jixing Abyss. Zhang Tai, who was responsible for crafting battle attire for Shouhua Academy, confirmed to Ming Yi that Zheng Tiao supported her role and would not hinder her. The Emperor of Jixing Abyss, pleased with the inter-realm union, agreed to issue a pass for Zheng Tiao to enter the realm.

Ming Yi intended to invite Ji Bozai to the wedding, and the ceremony proceeded with traditional blessings for eternal love, prosperity, and happiness. However, on the wedding day, Ji Bozai did not appear in person. Instead, Buxiu arrived as his envoy, delivering a gift and explaining that Ji Bozai had "severed ties with the past" but still wanted to congratulate an old friend. Ming Yi was visibly disappointed as Buxiu left quickly after presenting the gift.

Meanwhile, Situ Ling, having been confined to his room by Chao Heng until the Diwu tree's core was fully refined, fought his guards and attempted to escape. He told them to blame him for their injuries, so his father wouldn't punish them for his escape. Chao Heng appeared, expressing his disappointment and anger at Situ Ling's revealed relationship with Ming Xian and his dealings with Ming Xin. Situ Ling retorted that his father knew very little.

When Chao Heng threatened to kill him, Situ Ling used the Diwu tree's core as leverage, implying its fate would be uncertain if he died. Enraged, Chao Heng called him a "lowborn brat," but Situ Ling defiantly replied that his actions were merely lessons learned from his "deeply admired" father.

Chao Heng then implanted a spell within Situ Ling, warning that if he disobeyed orders or left the realm, he would suffer the agony of "thousands of ants gnawing at your heart," a pain not deadly but enough to ensure compliance. Chao Heng left him to reflect on his choices. Ji Bozai ventured deep into Zhuojin Tower, where Buxiu had previously overheard whispers about a "Sky-Swallowing Array."

Ji Bozai questioned Buxiu about the burning portrait, which contained the secret of the ancient array. A voice from the portrait revealed that a century ago, the Emperor of Zhushui created the Sky-Swallowing Array within Zhuojin Tower. His intent was to leverage the Qingyun Tournament's opening of the Nine Heavens to siphon all spiritual energy and primordial spirits from the realms, thereby dominating the Six Realms.

The array could only be activated by a unique spiritual vein host infused with both Heavenly Grief and Golden Millet Dream. The Bo clan had sworn to prevent these two medicines from ever reappearing. However, to save his disciple, Ji Bozai, Bo Yulan had been forced to re-refine the Golden Millet Dream.

In the portrait, she recorded the only way to destroy the array: a cultivator who had reached the Transcendent Stage must sacrifice themselves at the exact moment the Sky-Swallowing Array was activated. Ji Bozai acknowledged his impending fate to Buxiu, telling him there was nothing to be sad about, as only he could perform this act, and he didn't have much time left anyway. He regretted not being able to fulfill a promise he made to Ming Yi.

Ji Bozai arrived at the wedding venue after the ceremony had concluded and the guests had left. He found Ming Yi standing alone in the rain, holding a paper umbrella. Their eyes met, and Ming Yi approached him, asking why he hadn't offered his congratulations in person, wondering if he was afraid to see her, or if her presence brought back painful memories "that cling like a wound to the bone."

Ji Bozai called her name, and as she started to leave, telling him not to catch a cold, he stopped her. She noted the persistent rain, prompting Ji Bozai to pull her close and confess his dilemma. He proposed they let the rain define their moment: "As long as it keeps raining, there are no titles, no realms, and no Qingyun Tournament. Only you and me. When the rain stops, let everything end. . ."

They shared a passionate embrace and kiss. Just as the rain ceased, Ming Yi sadly observed, "The rain has stopped." She wished there was a spell to make the rain last forever, prolonging their shared moment. After one last embrace, she bid Ji Bozai to take care and departed. Situ Ling, having witnessed Ming Yi and Ji Bozai's intimate moment, was overcome with anguish and fury.

As Ji Bozai was returning, Situ Ling secretly used a spell to send an immortal attendant to intercept him. The attendant, feigning to deliver a return gift from Zhang Tai and claiming Ming Yi wished him to have it, handed Ji Bozai a Qiankun Pouch. This seemingly innocent gesture was a trap; receiving the pouch caused the Heavenly Grief within Ji Bozai to flare up intensely.

Ji Bozai, having already channeled his spiritual power into the Sky-Swallowing Array, which was now linked to his primordial spirit, urgently instructed Buxiu to extract his primordial spirit. He explained that if Zhushui Spiritual State activated the array, Buxiu must use his primordial spirit to seal it, stressing that time was critical and that Ming Yi must not be told.

Buxiu adamantly refused, declaring he would never break their spiritpact and that extracting his lord's primordial spirit was akin to killing him. He vowed to find another way to save Ji Bozai. Buxiu then rushed to Ming Yi's residence. Despite attempts by Ming Yi's servants to stop him, he knelt before her, begging her to save his lord, whose Heavenly Grief had re-emerged. Ming Yi, alarmed, questioned what had happened.

When the Yaoguang Emperor appeared, questioning her return after he had let her go, Ming Yi implored him to take her to Ji Bozai, asserting that the matter was urgent and best discussed privately at the Chamber of Ease.
