Zheng Ren, known as a genius doctor, came to Haicheng Hospital to work with Su Yun, the director of the Emergency Department who lies flat all day, in order to investigate the truth of a wrongful case from 18 years ago. When he was a child, Zheng Ren personally witnessed the scene of a doctor at Haicheng Hospital committing suicide by jumping from a building. After growing up and achieving academic success, Zheng Ren returned to Haicheng Hospital.

He was stunned for a moment when he saw Lin Ge's photo just as he entered the hospital entrance. Su Yun spent every day like a year at Jiangcheng Hospital. On this particular day, a mother with her son came to see a doctor first. Su Yun zoned out for a while and then told them to go to the Rheumatology and Immunology Department. The other party was clearly very confused. Next came a patient covered in pimples.

Su Yun casually looked at them and then told the patient to go register at the Rheumatology and Immunology Department. The patient looked at this somewhat unreliable-looking doctor with suspicion. Bu Ruotian felt that patients had the right to choose their doctor, and he even presented Zheng Ren's information, insisting on having Zheng Ren be the chief surgeon. Su Li thought Zheng Ren was his student and not at this hospital. Bu Ruotian and Lin Ge told Su Li that Zheng Ren was coming to report for duty today. Su Li felt it was ridiculous for Bu Ruotian to have an interventional doctor perform pancreatic head cancer surgery.

Bu Ruotian told his wife that Zheng Ren transferred to interventional medicine later, which Su Li didn't believe. Zheng Ren entered the archive room to investigate materials, recalling the scene of his father designing a logo when he was a child. Suddenly, he heard that Bu Ruotian was undergoing surgery, and Zheng Ren came to the observation room. Su Yun also discovered that there was a problem with the surgery. Su Li didn't believe it. Zheng Ren didn't want Bu Ruotian to die before he found the answers, so he started formulating a plan in his mind.

Lobo Laina disappointedly told Su Li that it was no longer possible. At this moment, Zheng Ren entered the operating room and told Su Li there was only a one percent chance. It was only then that Su Li handed the case over to Zheng Ren. During the surgery, Xie Yiren and Zheng Ren cooperated very well. Su Yun watched from outside, also very nervous. Seeing the surgery succeed, he breathed a sigh of relief for Zheng Ren.

Su Li was also conquered by Zheng Ren. She apologized to Zheng Ren and voluntarily admitted that she knew there was an issue with the scans. Zheng Ren felt that Su Li's attitude was problematic. When Zheng Ren got off work, he held an umbrella for a little cat. This little cat was coincidentally picked up by Su Yun and named "Little Umbrella".
