He asked Zhou Na if he had pushed Yu Luxi too hard by casting her as the lead. Zhou Na questioned his motives, asking if he chose Yu Luxi for her professional skill or because of personal feelings. Xiaotian explained that Yu Luxi had struggled with stuttering for years until she became a fan of a radio host named "Mr. Mai," who she would listen to and practice speaking along with. This helped her overcome her stutter, and Xiaotian then revealed that Lin Nan was indeed "Mr. Mai." He implored Lin Nan to help his sister, saying, "You are the only one who can help my sister now. I hope you keep your word."
Hearing this, Lin Nan, who had given up voice acting after a throat cancer diagnosis, recognized his own struggle to face fear in Yu Luxi. Inspired, he walked into the recording studio, put on his headphones, and picked up the microphone for the first time in years.
