Cao Yanbing woke up and discovered that two days had passed, leaving only one day before his two Guardian Spirits would turn into white beads. He urgently opened the cell door to get out and encountered a food delivery person.

The old man said he knew Tang Xiaoxiao; he was Li Gubai, one of the four great masters and a former strategist of the Hall of Heroes, and Tang Xiaoxiao was also a member of the Hall of Heroes, responsible for assassinations and executing secret missions. Li Gubai said Tang Xiaoxiao was not in Qianji Heisha. Cao Yanbing didn't believe his mother wasn't there.

Li Gubai said he could let Cao Yanbing see some scenes through the eyes of Tang Xiaoxiao's Guardian Spirit, Tang Wuxin, but it would cause severe damage to his spirit, asking if he still wanted to see. Cao Yanbing felt that no matter what, he had to know about his mother.

Through the scenes he saw through the Guardian Spirit's eyes, he learned that the body of his mother he had seen before was fake, and his mother was turned to stone while battling someone. When he woke up, he asked Li Gubai if he knew where the place his mother was in was, or where Tang Wuxin was.

Li Gubai told him that no matter where that place was, he couldn't leave Qianji Heisha, because Zhenyu Tongzi had been here for over eight hundred years, and not a single person had been able to escape. Zhenyu Tongzi sensed Cao Yanbing's spiritual energy and found him, preparing to kill him. Zhenyu Tongzi was originally an evil beast saved by his master by chance.

The master told him to clear evil beings in Qianji Heisha and promised to come find him and take him as a disciple after five hundred years. But now, over eight hundred years had passed, and the master still hadn't come to pick him up. He felt it was because the demons in hell couldn't be completely cleared; for every one he killed, ten grew, which was why the master hadn't come.

Cao Yanbing laughed at his pitiful state, saying his master had already abandoned him. Zhenyu Tongzi was extremely enraged. He grabbed Cao Yanbing and was about to strangle him to death when a person appeared at the crucial moment and saved him. It turned out that the food delivery person was Tang Xiaoxiao's Guardian Spirit, Tang Wuxin.
