The Flower King told Xia Ling that Xia Qifeng would wake up after a while and she could go to the Forest of Empty Spirits to find him then. The Flower King told Cao Yanbing and Xia Ling that the endless nightmare was created by the three of Wind, Snow, and Moon working together to trap him.

Because when Xia Qifeng came to the Ancient Reed Building, it was already too late; those Spiritual Guardians had already been turned into stone by Yue Wang. The Flower King stopped Xia Qifeng, thus preventing him from being turned into stone by Yue Wang. However, the other three kings were angered by the Flower King helping Xia Qifeng, so they used Xia Qifeng's emotions to create the nightmare and imprison the Flower King.

Xia Qifeng, as the master of the nightmare, was sleeping here. Beiluo came to find Xia Ling and Cao Yanbing and said he already knew about the nightmare and Xia Qifeng's matter. Xia Ling told him she would help him open Penglai.

The Flower King heard they wanted to open Penglai and told them that what was inside Penglai was not good and could not help heal soul power, but the power of the Wind King could heal soul power and even have the strength to fight Yue Wang.

Cao Yanbing prepared to go find the Wind King to ask for her help, but the Flower King told him that the Wind King often abused humans and even possessed the bodies of young and beautiful human girls out of jealousy. Beiluo informed everyone that the person whose body was possessed was Yan Qiaoqiao. The Flower King and the three of Cao Yanbing discussed how to deal with the Wind King.

The three found Yan Qiaoqiao's soul jar, broke it, and released Yan Qiaoqiao's soul. The Wind King instantly turned into an old lady with a head full of white hair. Cao Yanbing told Yan Qiaoqiao that her younger brother Yan Fengzha came to the ancient building to save her.

Everyone prepared to go to the Moon Palace to find Yue Wang and save people. Huangfu Longdou and Yue Wang finished their chess game, and Huangfu Longdou conceded defeat. Yue Wang told him he was about to be turned into stone. Yue Wang sensed a human presence in the Moon Palace, and Huangfu Longdou told him to deal with those people first and then handle him. Cao Yanbing and the others arrived at the stone formation.

Yan Qiaoqiao told everyone that if they wanted to break the petrification, they must defeat Yue Wang. She had the power of the Wind God within her to deal with Yue Wang, so she would lead the charge. The Flower King warned everyone not to look into Yue Wang's eyes. Yue Wang cast a spell, and Xia Ling, Beiluo, and the Flower King were turned into stone. Yue Wang was surprised that even the Wind King had betrayed him.

Yan Qiaoqiao said she was not the Wind King; she told Yue Wang to hand over Yan Fengzha. Yue Wang said she was too late and took out the Star-Moon Pendant. Yan Qiaoqiao learned that Yan Fengzha had been turned into stone by Yue Wang. She tried to use the power of the storm against Yue Wang, but her ability was less than one-tenth of the Wind King's.

In the end, she was defeated by Yue Wang and turned into stone. Meanwhile, Cao Yanbing was also injured by Yue Wang's black death light and was immediately near death. At this moment, the Demon Venerable appeared again and saved Cao Yanbing. Cao Yanbing finally understood that the Demon Venerable wanted to open Penglai, obtain the heart, and achieve resurrection. The Demon Venerable controlled Cao Yanbing's body and attacked Yue Wang, defeating him.

The Demon Venerable tempted Cao Yanbing to surrender all his consciousness to help him obtain the heart. Cao Yanbing negotiated with Yue Wang, telling him to lift the petrification power, and then he would take his people and leave so the Demon Venerable could not be resurrected. Just as Yue Wang was preparing to lift the petrification, he was killed by Xuan Ma.

Xuan Ma told Cao Yanbing that it was best to follow her master's arrangements now, otherwise he would fall into Huangfu Longdou's hands.
