> First Romance Recap

In our youthful years, first love and secret crushes are always the most unforgettable emotions, yearning for the moment when dreams come true. The fate of meeting again in college gave Xiong Yifan infinite courage. She wanted to confess to her crush, Yan Ke, in front of all the teachers and students, but it ended in a comical mishap—even accidentally hitting the very boy she adored with her high heel.

One of the fastest things to spread on campus is gossip. Soon, at the opening ceremony, Xiong Yifan shattered the fire alarm sprinkler in the lobby with a high-heeled shoe, drenching all the teachers and students. The falling shoe also happened to hit Yan Ke squarely on the forehead. The cause was a falling flag on the stage. As a javelin thrower, Xiong Yifan's action was completely subconscious. She received severe criticism as a lesson.

On the first day of school, Xiong Yifan was full of enthusiasm and anticipation. She thought that having undergone a transformation, she was now full of feminine charm and gentleness, no longer the tomboy who used to throw javelins. Xiong Yifan was very confident that her acquaintances would be surprised by the changes in her demeanor and appearance. Little did she know that meeting Yan Ke again in the guise of a goddess would lead to such an unconventional encounter.

On the first day of school, in the noisy classroom, the students hadn't been happy about the cancellation of military training for long before they became dejected about holding a sports meet. Although Xiong Yifan had changed her appearance, she couldn't change her inner self and actually signed up for all the sports events. In the chicken fight competition, she was originally exhausted, but Yan Ke's cheering revitalized her, and she turned defeat into victory.

Xiong Yifan and Yan Ke were elected as class monitors for boys and girls, which implicitly increased many opportunities for them to be alone together. Yan Ke was dismissive of anyone's attempts to get closer and played dumb, but a single sentence from Xiong Yifan reminded him of someone from high school who he couldn't forget.

In the second half of the sports meet, Xiong Yifan actively asked Yan Ke to participate in the tug-of-war together, but during the competition, her mind was filled with how to "seduce" Yan Ke. Xiong Yifan took the opportunity to reach out and touch Yan Ke's elbow with her finger. Fortunately, they won the competition, which diluted the awkwardness of the touch.

When it came to the three-legged race event, Xiong Yifan and Yan Ke were fatefully placed in the same group. Just as she was contemplating how to initiate holding hands, her shoulder was embraced by him first. The two were full of fighting spirit, but halfway through, they suddenly tripped and fell. Seeing that they were about to fall behind others, Yan Ke suddenly felt his feet leave the ground, and his perspective flipped.

It turned out that Xiong Yifan had lifted him up and ran towards the finish line, ultimately winning. After the sports meet, Yan Ke suddenly discovered that the candy box he always carried was missing. Seeing him anxiously searching everywhere, Xiong Yifan actually went through the trash cans one by one for him. When night fell and Yan Ke had given up hope, Xiong Yifan's face came into his view, having found the precious item for him.

This candy box was an extremely important memento for Yan Ke. Qi Xiaosong, who had always protected him, suddenly disappeared one day, leaving only a finished candy box in the corner of the piano room. In the past two days, Yan Ke had seen Qi Xiaosong's shadow in Xiong Yifan more than once. They both liked to talk about loyalty and always made people feel secure and reliable.

When Xiong Yifan mentioned that she also liked to eat candy in high school but had to quit due to cavities, Yan Ke finally couldn't help but ask Xiong Yifan if she had any siblings. Receiving the answer that Xiong Yifan was an only child, he couldn't help but feel a wave of melancholy and disappointment.
