Ren Chu and Fan Yi arrived to pick up their girlfriends after class. Ren Chu, adhering to his "Boyfriend Rules" by waiting for Lu Wanwan and carrying her backpack, drew envious glances from Qiao. Amidst playful banter between Ren Chu and Fan Yi about Ren Chu's sharp tongue and how his stylish appearance helped his relationship with Lu Wanwan get on the right track, Lu Wanwan invited Ren Chu for a meal.

Both expressed relief that their busy week was ending and simultaneously suggested going on a date the next day. For their first official date, Lu Wanwan took charge of the arrangements. She diligently researched strategies, hoping to embody a dominant partner who could spoil Ren Chu. Their first stop was the cinema, where Lu Wanwan chose a classy literary romance film, aiming for a romantic atmosphere that would resonate with Ren Chu, a straight-A student.

She hoped the tear-jerking movie would lead them to hold hands and appreciate each other's presence. However, Lu Wanwan ended up falling asleep, disrupting her envisioned romantic scenario. Undeterred, she took Ren Chu to a highly-rated room escape game, believing it would challenge his intellect. She had chosen the hardest one in the city and planned to guide him. To her surprise, Ren Chu effortlessly solved the puzzles.

He deduced the four-digit password for the first room by identifying fingerprints on the keypad, narrowing the combinations to twenty-four and opening it on his fifth try. In the second room, he quickly opened the door by observing light reflection angles. Lu Wanwan felt frustrated, having spent a lot of money only for them to exit the "most difficult" room in ten minutes.

Feeling defeated that her plan to be a "boss" and spoil Ren Chu had failed, Lu Wanwan confessed her frustration. Ren Chu reassured her, explaining that he already felt her love and that her happiness was all he needed to feel pampered. Meanwhile, the school arranged a physical checkup for the dance department, carried out by intern doctors from the city hospital. To Wang Xinyu's surprise, one of the doctors was Meng Xibai.

He immediately took charge of her checkup, openly displaying his favoritism. He tried to engage her in conversation, referencing her past claim about admirers lining up "from here to France." Meng Xibai admitted he came just to see her and mentioned sending her an email to invite her fishing. Wang Xinyu, however, bluntly stated her dislike for fishing and emails, preferring phone communication.

Reflecting on how difficult it is for a guy to pursue a girl, Meng Xibai immediately decided to buy a phone, specifically asking for one that could send WeChat messages. Lu Wanwan later took Ren Chu to a woodcraft shop to make handmade items for each other. She confessed she had always wanted to do this with a boyfriend, and Ren Chu promised to be the first and the last one to do so with her.

At the shop, Ren Chu subtly guided Lu Wanwan through the carving process. Afterward, he took her to the restaurant where they first met. He revealed that the glass wall where she had winked at him was a one-way mirror, praising her successful "seduction." Lu Wanwan playfully demanded he return the favor by winking back.

There, they took a photo, and Lu Wanwan excitedly declared her intention to make an "official announcement" on social media to give Ren Chu a proper status. The announcement was met with disbelief from their friends on Moments, who accused Lu Wanwan of Photoshopping Ren Chu into the picture and even stealing Guan Ai's boyfriend, calling her a "third person." Lu Wanwan was furious.

To quell the rumors, Ren Chu comforted her, saying "rumors stop at the wise," and then publicly declared his affection for Lu Wanwan on campus, sealing it with a kiss. This public display left Lu Wanwan completely satisfied, exclaiming that she had "conquered the man at the top of the pyramid." Back in her dormitory, Lu Wanwan showed Ren Chu's wooden craft to Qiao, who jokingly remarked that it looked like a "radish" or "pork liver."

Lu Wanwan, however, adored it, calling it "Ren Chu's sincere heart." When Qiao teased that "love makes people blind," Lu Wanwan agreed. Later, Liang Xia messaged Lu Wanwan, expressing happiness for her but also revealing that she and An Jiaxian had broken up and she would be going abroad in three months. In a phone call, Liang Xia explained that since neither could guarantee their future together, a peaceful separation was the best choice.

She confirmed they were now friends and asked Lu Wanwan to see her off at the airport. Lu Wanwan presented Ren Chu with her handmade gift: a wooden skull. Ren Chu's friends found it unsettling, but Ren Chu adored it, calling it "so special" and designating it as their "token of love." Meanwhile, Fan Yi confessed to Qiao that he was upset after being harassed on the bus.

Enraged, Qiao accompanied him the next day, cleverly caught the harasser, and publicly admonished him, threatening to "break his bones" if she ever saw him touch anyone again. Later, Ren Chu surprised Lu Wanwan with a homemade cake. After tasting it, Lu Wanwan humorously remarked that the cake "tastes like plaster" and that even a straight-A student wasn't omnipotent. Ren Chu good-naturedly accepted the criticism.

He then delivered news: his lab had organized a month-long exchange program at a university in another province. To reassure Lu Wanwan, he presented her with a "Guarantee of Long-Distance Relationship." Lu Wanwan listed her conditions: her WeChat must be pinned and starred, he must reply quickly, answer her calls promptly, wait for her to hang up first, give her a cute nickname, and have daily video calls.

She also forbade him from adding other girls on WeChat, to which Ren Chu wittily replied that for other girls, he "didn't have a phone." He then sealed all his promises with a kiss.
