> Divine Destiny Recap

Gu Qing had fully regained her immortal consciousness, shedding tears. Yinfeng, overjoyed, spoke of their ancient bond, recalling their ten thousand years of companionship by the Wuding River where she had enlightened him through the seven volumes of the Book of Heaven. He believed with her divine consciousness restored, nothing could stop them from returning to the God Realm, pledging to help her recover her immortal dharma-laksana.

However, Gu Qing was unable to face him, acknowledging his deep affection but lamenting that everything in this life felt wrong. Ji Ruochen then introduced himself. Yinfeng, seeing Ji Ruochen, questioned Gu Qing's hesitation, asking if his ten millennia of devotion and their ninety-nine lifetimes of intertwined destinies meant less to her than Ji Ruochen. Despite Gu Qing's reluctance, Yinfeng insisted on helping her, stating his willingness to do anything for her.

Gu Qing, feeling overwhelmed, asked why he persisted, then turned and departed despondently. Soon after, Yinfeng detected someone hiding in his room and called them out. It was the Hierarch of Mount Luoran. The Hierarch commented that Yun Zhong Ju seemed a good place for healing, to which Yinfeng responded by acknowledging his intent but questioning his personal visit and if he was afraid of causing further trouble.

Yinfeng then directly confronted the Hierarch for intruding and eavesdropping, warning him that had Gu Qing not been there, this might have been his last view of Yun Zhong Ju. The Hierarch revealed that Ji Ruochen was trapped in Mount Luoran, suggesting it was an opportune moment to act. Yinfeng, still a disciple of Qingxu Sect, perceived this as an attempt to use him to eliminate Ji Ruochen.

The Hierarch corrected him, stating it was about sharing a common hatred and warning that Gu Qing would never return to him until Ji Ruochen was killed by the Dingtian Sword. Meanwhile, Li Xuanzhen, who possessed a Xuanxin ring filled with various practical items, led Ji Bingxian on a rescue mission to save Ji Ruochen and Zhang Yinyin from the Luoran School. He boldly challenged the Luoran School to release their captives, threatening destruction and taunting their cultivators.

As they prepared for battle, Li Xuanzhen realized the powerful Mount Luoran formation had imprisoned his true spirit, indicating a tough fight. During the skirmish, Ji Bingxian was struck by arrows. Li Xuanzhen rushed to her side, blaming himself for her injury. Realizing their limited strength, and unable to seek help from their masters due to Zhang Yinyin's prior expulsion from the sect, Li Xuanzhen decided to seek assistance from Senior Qiushui, instructing Ji Bingxian to wait for his return.

While Yinfeng continued to help Gu Qing with her fluctuating divine power, Li Xuanzhen urgently arrived at Yun Zhong Ju. He barged past Qiushui's wife, urgently informing Qiushui that Ji Bingxian was severely injured and Ji Ruochen and Zhang Yinyin had been captured, emphasizing the critical need for immediate help. Qiushui, recognizing the gravity of the situation, decided to accompany Li Xuanzhen, despite his wife's wish to join them, as he believed Yun Zhong Ju's direct intervention would complicate matters.

Simultaneously, a Yun Zhong Ju attendant gossiped to a senior sister about the "lawless" Xixuan individuals who had intruded and taken Qiushui, dismissing Ji Ruochen as a "fake banished god" with no ties to Yun Zhong Ju. Gu Qing, overhearing the news of Ji Ruochen's peril, became visibly worried. Yinfeng observed her concern, reinforcing his belief that Ji Ruochen remained an obstacle to Gu Qing's complete return to him, remarking that "Xuxuan was right." He then decided to act.

Yinfeng, determined, quickly located Ji Ruochen. While Li Xuanzhen, Ji Bingxian, and their allies, including Qingyi and others from the Endless Sea, were fighting their way out of Mount Luoran using a Dragon and Tiger Universal Cannon, Yinfeng confronted Ji Ruochen directly. Ji Ruochen greeted Yinfeng, recalling their last encounter, and, attempting to protect Zhang Yinyin, asked Yinfeng to let her go, which Yinfeng agreed to.

Zhang Yinyin, aware of Yinfeng's superior power, tried to negotiate by suggesting they return the title of banished immortal to him as a basis for a deal. Yinfeng, however, was resolute in killing Ji Ruochen, blaming him for Gu Qing's loss of her dharma-laksana and her stubbornness. Ji Ruochen, now having someone to protect, declared he would fight. Yinfeng retorted that Ji Ruochen had only previously escaped due to fate and this time he would not miss.

Zhang Yinyin then attempted a diversion, transforming her appearance into Gu Qing's. In this guise, she claimed her engagement with Ji Ruochen was broken, admitting their connection was a mistake. She reaffirmed Yinfeng as the "master of the bluestone" and her destined partner for their return to the God Realm, pleading with him to spare Ji Ruochen. Yinfeng, however, immediately saw through the illusion.

Just as he moved to strike Ji Ruochen, the real Gu Qing arrived, ordering him to stop. Gu Qing then instructed Ji Ruochen and Zhang Yinyin to leave, stating the matter was between her and Yinfeng. Zhang Yinyin sincerely thanked Gu Qing for saving Ji Ruochen and extended gratitude to Yun Zhong Ju for saving her father.

Gu Qing then vehemently condemned Yinfeng for his ruthless pursuit, stating there was no possibility between her and Ji Ruochen and questioning why Yinfeng needed to be so merciless. She accused him of slandering others for his own selfish desires and admitted her misjudgment of him, stating that if the one who was meant to fulfill their hundred-lifetime appointment was as narrow-minded and indiscriminately murderous as him, she would rather live out her life alone in the mortal world.

Yinfeng defended himself, claiming he had personally witnessed the energy of the Nine Hells within Ji Ruochen, asserting that Ji Ruochen was undoubtedly a demon and therefore his actions were justified. He desperately pleaded with Gu Qing to believe him. However, Gu Qing rejected his claims, cutting off the conversation and explicitly banishing him from Yun Zhong Ju, declaring he was no longer welcome and could return to the God Realm alone.

Ji Ruochen and Zhang Yinyin then departed, stopping at a tailor shop where Ji Ruochen, smitten by Zhang Yinyin's beauty in a new outfit, bought it for her. Zhang Yinyin showed him a "lovesickness knot" on the garment, explaining its meaning, but Ji Ruochen admitted he was too busy admiring her to learn how to tie it. He generously paid the shopkeeper with a large bill, refusing change.

As night fell, they found an inn, which, to Zhang Yinyin's dismay, only offered one luxurious suite. They reluctantly agreed to share it, with Zhang Yinyin taking the inner room. Later that night, Ji Ruochen, unable to sleep, entered Zhang Yinyin's room, admitting he was afraid she might disappear if he closed his eyes. Their conversation drifted to Gu Qing, and Zhang Yinyin reflected on her previous misunderstanding of Gu Qing and the great debt they both owed her.

Ji Ruochen agreed, feeling he owed Gu Qing his life. Zhang Yinyin then playfully questioned Ji Ruochen's recent extravagant spending, teasing him about how he acquired such funds. Ji Ruochen revealed that Senior Qiushui had given him the money when he sought him out. Asserting that his money was now her money, Zhang Yinyin confiscated his remaining silver notes for safekeeping, fearing his profligacy.

As she pocketed the money, she playfully remarked on his foiled attempt to outsmart her, prompting Ji Ruochen to jokingly declare he needed to recite a "Mind Purification Mantra." Their conversation was abruptly interrupted by a knock in the middle of the night. A person at the door, sent by Ji Tianxia, requested payment for a book called "Qianyuan Manual" from Ji Ruochen, with the inn's wine bill to be used as an offset. Ji Ruochen immediately asked for Ji Tianxia's current location.
