Chi Yu was deeply startled to discover three birthmarks on Wen Suxi's back, positioned exactly where Ji Wan had been struck by three arrows. He pulled down Wen Suxi's shawl to reconfirm, muttering about the incredible coincidence, while paparazzi snapped photos. Tang Mao quickly intervened, guiding a flustered Wen Suxi off the stage and stopping the reporters. Tang Mao then confronted Chi Yu, asking for an explanation.

Chi Yu vaguely stated he needed to confirm something but could not disclose details. Tang Mao sternly warned Chi Yu to stay away from Wen Suxi, regardless of his intentions, emphasizing that he wouldn't let the matter rest and would make Chi Yu regret any further harm to Wen Suxi. Afterwards, Tang Mao drove Wen Suxi home, where she thanked him for his help.

Tang Mao remarked that she only appreciated his efforts when trouble arose and reiterated his advice for her to avoid Chi Yu. Later, Chi Yu awkwardly entered an elevator, narrowly getting in ahead of Duo La and her assistant, Natie, who were rushing to an engagement. Duo La, annoyed by his abruptness, suggested he wait for the next elevator. Chi Yu, visibly uncomfortable in the confined space, insisted there was enough room for three and declined to exit.

Duo La and Natie reluctantly joined him, finding his strange, stiff demeanor and avoidance of the floor display unsettling. Chi Yu visited the curator to confirm Lin Haoshu's identity, also mentioning Wen Suxi's birthmarks. The curator explained that these marks suggested an "energy entanglement" between Wen Suxi and Ji Wan, indicating a "long-been closely connected" history.

He cautioned that if these two energies converged again, "there must be a disaster," and advised Chi Yu to keep Wen Suxi away from Lin Haoshu to ensure Lin Haoshu's safety, as their continued interaction would inevitably lead to misfortune. Upon returning home, Wen Suxi found Lin Haoshu in the dark, still reeling from Chi Yu's earlier visit. He recounted how Chi Yu had subjected him to a full-body examination, calling Chi Yu a "pervert."

Wen Suxi, equally incensed, expressed her desire to see Chi Yu locked away or worse, with Lin Haoshu elaborating on even more gruesome fantasies of revenge. Wen Suxi then voiced her appreciation for Lin Haoshu, who shared her anger and pain. Meanwhile, Tang Mao's investigation into Chi Yu yielded little concrete information. His subordinate reported that Chi Yu appeared to come from a wealthy background, attending expensive schools annually, but had no recorded employment history, making his background seem "clean."

Tang Mao decided to postpone publicly announcing his relationship with Wen Suxi. The next day, at a company meeting, Mr. Ren, the director, jokingly praised Wen Suxi for the "scandal" with Chi Yu, noting it had boosted the pre-sales for her film, "Crazy Trip." He even suggested signing Chi Yu as a new artist, but both Wen Suxi and Cai Shumeng immediately objected, deeming it a hasty decision given the company's strict standards.

Mr. Ren countered that market attention and traffic were paramount for artists. The discussion then shifted to film scheduling. An employee explained that "Crazy Trip" and Cai Shumeng's film, "Thunderbolt Envoy," were both clashing with a major American blockbuster, meaning their full screening schedules would depend on their first weekend box office performance. Tang Mao declared that "Crazy Trip" would be prioritized, and he was considering rescheduling "Thunderbolt Envoy." Cai Shumeng was furious, pointing out the unfairness.

Mr. Ren hinted at Tang Mao's lack of market sensitivity. Tang Mao defended his decision, citing internal test results and questionnaires that supported rescheduling "Thunderbolt Envoy" for the company's greater good, and dismissed accusations of favoritism. Wen Suxi, however, felt it was unfair to Cai Shumeng because of her. After the meeting, Cai Shumeng attempted to speak to Tang Mao privately, but he coolly brushed her off, claiming other commitments. Wen Suxi also departed for another meeting with You You.

Left alone with Tang Mao, Cai Shumeng angrily questioned why Wen Suxi received preferential treatment, arguing that her own professional standing and work quality were comparable. Tang Mao reiterated that the decision was made for the company's benefit, acknowledging Wen Suxi's current higher public attention. Chi Yu went to Lin Haoshu's studio to apologize for his earlier actions. Lin Haoshu, still irritated, insisted Chi Yu buy him a milk tea as amends.

Lin Haoshu's student, Wang Xiaomi, was present and enthusiastically offered to lead Chi Yu to a good milk tea shop. At the shop, Lin Haoshu complained about being dragged there just for milk tea, but Chi Yu insisted on showing sincerity. When Wen Suxi called Lin Haoshu, Chi Yu snatched the phone.

He declared that Lin Haoshu would no longer ride with Wen Suxi, as he would take him home, and forbade Wen Suxi from contacting Lin Haoshu, citing Lin Haoshu's safety. Infuriated, Wen Suxi demanded Lin Haoshu's location and rushed to the shop. Meanwhile, Cai Shumeng was drinking wine at Mr. Qian's home, deeply upset by her film's rescheduling. Mr. Qian, angered by her plight, vowed to help.

In her drunken state, Cai Shumeng became intimate with Mr. Qian, a decision she deeply regretted upon sobering up. Back in her office, she found a copy of "Crazy Trip" resources on her desk and immediately called her assistant, Xiao Di. Mr. Qian had earlier told Cai Shumeng in person that "there are many ways to deal with Wen Suxi."

When Wen Suxi arrived at the milk tea shop, a heated argument erupted between her and Chi Yu over Lin Haoshu. Wang Xiaomi, witnessing the confrontation, suggested they settle their dispute at the nearby game hall.

Confident due to Chi Yu's unfamiliarity with game halls, Wen Suxi proposed a high-stakes wager: if she lost, she would give Chi Yu her house keys and permit him to spend time alone with Lin Haoshu; if she won, Chi Yu would have to "kneel three times and kowtow nine times" at her home to apologize and then disappear from her life forever. Chi Yu accepted, believing this arrangement would allow him to "always look after Mr. Lin's safety."

They commenced a racing game, where Wen Suxi initially dominated. However, Chi Yu's remarkable adaptability allowed him to quickly catch up and ultimately secure a victory, much to Wen Suxi's dismay and Lin Haoshu's surprise. Chi Yu then accompanied Wen Suxi and Lin Haoshu home. At the doorstep, Wen Suxi stumbled, accidentally bumping foreheads with Chi Yu.

This contact triggered a powerful vision in Chi Yu's mind: a memory of Ji Wan trying to prevent his punishment, asserting that she should not have died to save him, followed by another Celestial Master ordering Chi Yu back to the Big Dipper for judgment. The vividness of the memory left Chi Yu deeply confused. He sought counsel from Shancai and Fang, describing the forehead bump with Wen Suxi and the resulting vision of Ji Wan.

He questioned why he saw Ji Wan when Wen Suxi was clearly a different person. Fang jokingly attributed it to Chi Yu having "haven't been close to a woman for long," suggesting that the "influence of the magnetic field" due to Wen Suxi's constant presence around Lin Haoshu (whom Chi Yu perceived as Ji Wan's reincarnation) had caused him to experience "improper thoughts" or "associations."

Shancai dismissed Fang's explanation as absurd, but Fang countered that such "unreliable words" were necessary to deter Chi Yu from constantly bothering them. Chi Yu, somewhat considering the "influence of the magnetic field" as a possibility, then decided to take it seriously. To ingratiate himself with Lin Haoshu, Chi Yu prepared an elaborate meal, including roast gingko, which Ji Wan had loved. Lin Haoshu found the gingko bitter and refused to eat it.

Wen Suxi, however, ate it all, remarking on the pleasant aftertaste and how it always lifted her spirits, echoing Ji Wan's past sentiments. Chi Yu noted the striking similarity between Wen Suxi's behavior and Ji Wan's. During dinner, Wen Suxi, still annoyed, drank from Chi Yu's cup. Chi Yu launched into a tirade, criticizing her for her unkempt appearance, lack of gratitude for his cooking, and bad temper, labeling her disrespectful.

Wen Suxi fiercely retorted, defending her personal habits in her own home and stating she only ate his breakfast out of consideration for Lin Haoshu. She concluded by telling him to "get lost" if he couldn't tolerate her. She then lamented having to endure both Lin Haoshu and the "drag" of Chi Yu, blaming her predicament on losing the game. Later, Wen Suxi received an urgent call from You You.

A news report confirmed that a copy of "Crazy Trip" had been stolen and illegally uploaded online, leading to widespread downloads. The report highlighted the immense financial losses the company faced, with multiple partner companies threatening lawsuits, jeopardizing the film's box office. Wen Suxi rushed to the company, where Mr. Ren confronted her about the leak, pointing out that the company's stock price had "plunged all the way," instantly losing "hundreds of millions of yuan."

A staff member revealed that Qian Ning, the post-production manager, had left early the previous day and was now missing, with his phone off. Mr. Ren, furious, blamed Wen Suxi and declared she would be held fully responsible if the situation wasn't resolved. Wen Suxi accepted the responsibility, stating she would immediately meet with various agencies and investors to "minimize losses."

Tang Mao expressed concern that Wen Suxi was shouldering too much blame alone and informed her that he had already begun blocking websites distributing the leaked film. Wen Suxi then departed for her meetings, still determined to find Qian Ning, believing he owed her an explanation. Her assistant worried that partner companies were demanding compensation per their contracts and questioned the efficacy of continuing roadshows for the film.
