Destiny's Love Episode 35 Recap
> Destiny's Love Recap
Upon discovering an identical scar on Wen Suxi's shoulder to his own, Chi Yu realized something was terribly amiss. He immediately confronted the curator, demanding to know the truth about the Sun and Moon Jade and the mysterious marks. The curator, seeing that the time was right, finally divulged the full story.
He explained that 3,000 years ago, during a civil war on the Big Dipper, the Sun and Moon Jade fell to Earth and was found and worn by Ji Wan. When Ji Wan saved Chi Yu on the battlefield, the jade disc was shattered, and its energy split, embedding itself within Chi Yu and Ji Wan's reincarnation, Wen Suxi.
The curator revealed that Wen Suxi's energy regeneration signaled the impending rebirth of the Sun and Moon Jade, and the identical scars on their bodies were the tell-tale signs. He openly declared his intention to seize the Sun and Moon Jade's power to avenge his exiled son, vowing to conquer the Big Dipper and control all energy and matter in the universe.
Chi Yu expressed disbelief that the curator, a mere official, could wield such power, as only destiny writers could control the Sun and Moon Jade. The curator chuckled, implying he had a solution. He then revealed his alliance with Hua Yecheng and proceeded to explain his strategy.
He recounted how he had planned to mislead Chi Yu into looking for Lin Haoshu instead of Wen Suxi to ensure the three predicted disasters would occur and the Sun and Moon Jade would emerge. He then confirmed to Chi Yu that Wen Suxi was indeed the person he had been searching for. At that moment, Hua Yecheng entered the room, pushing a woman named Huichu in a wheelchair.
He tenderly promised her that in just one more day, they would overcome the cycle of life, aging, and death, to be together forever. Later, Wen Suxi went to Chi Yu's home looking for him. She heard Hua Yecheng's phone ringing and, out of curiosity, checked it, only to be horrified by photos of human victims. Just then, Hua Yecheng appeared.
Realizing his secret was exposed, he used his powers to forcefully show Wen Suxi the complete truth about Chi Yu and their shared past. Hua Yecheng intended to take her then, but Wen Suxi pleaded for one last night to spend with Chi Yu. The curator continued to reveal Wen Suxi's tragic fate to Chi Yu: the moment the Sun and Moon Jade emerged, Wen Suxi's body would be unable to withstand its immense energy, leading to her death.
She would then pass through the Star Falling Door, forever ending her life energy. Chi Yu, in despair, wanted to destroy the Star Falling Door, but the curator explained that only Earthlings could enter it, making it impossible for Chi Yu, a destiny master, to save her or even witness her final moments. Overwhelmed, Chi Yu asked why Hua Yecheng would participate in such a plan.
The curator explained that both Chi Yu and Hua Yecheng were "stupid enough" to sacrifice everything for love. He recounted that 3,000 years ago, when Chi Yu met Ji Wan, Hua Yecheng also met his beloved. However, due to the limitations of human life energy, she would forget him with each reincarnation.
The curator had given them a pair of jade rings to preserve their memories across lives, but the endless cycles of finding and losing her had caused Hua Yecheng unbearable pain. He learned of a legend that placing a complete Sun and Moon Jade on a dying person's chest could grant them rebirth, eternal youth, and immunity from aging and disease.
This was Hua Yecheng's desperate motivation for orchestrating the current events, as he no longer cared about the Big Dipper's judgment if it meant he could be with his love forever. Chi Yu soon tracked down Huichu's hiding place and confronted Hua Yecheng. A fierce battle ensued, but Chi Yu, with his weakened destiny writing brush, was no match for Hua Yecheng.
During their fight, Hua Yecheng informed Chi Yu that he had already helped Wen Suxi regain her memories and advised him to stop wasting energy and spend his remaining time with her, as no one could prevent the Sun and Moon Jade's emergence. Chi Yu, heartbroken and helpless, left in agony. Wen Suxi was deeply moved, realizing the profound suffering Chi Yu had endured for love.
She then met Chi Yu, playfully teasing him about his hidden identity as a destiny master and his destiny writing brush. She lightheartedly questioned his past with Ji Wan, pretending not to be bothered. Overwhelmed with emotion, Chi Yu embraced her tightly, pouring out his heart and confessing that from ancient times to the present, and for all eternity, she was the only one in his thoughts, his ears, and his eyes.
Wen Suxi, wishing for time to stand still, leaned in and passionately kissed him. She reflected on their love and joked about having a "Bat-Spider-Iron Man" hybrid child. Meanwhile, Hua Yecheng tried to feed Huichu, who was visibly distressed. She confessed that the endless cycle of reincarnation had become a torment, recounting how she remembered him across various lives, but the repeated partings from loved ones had left her exhausted and afraid.
She begged Hua Yecheng to release her from this painful existence. Aware of their impending separation, Wen Suxi and Chi Yu decided to spend their final moments together joyfully. They visited a wishing tree, went to an amusement park where Chi Yu used his powers to delight her, and celebrated her birthday. Overjoyed, Wen Suxi asked Chi Yu if she resembled Ji Wan.
As Chi Yu held her, he narrated that fate, luck, and choices bring people together, and he, Chi Yu, was the one by her side now. They discussed the vast time difference between the Big Dipper and Earth. They then returned home, watched a movie, and peacefully slept beside each other. The next morning, Chi Yu awoke to find Wen Suxi gone, frantically calling out her name.
