Lin Haoshu anxiously checked his phone map, but there was no ruined temple nearby. He urged Wang Xiaomi to find the police, but she began to ramble nonsensically. Through their walkie-talkie, the name "Lijiang Tower" came up, and Lin Haoshu instantly realized Wang Xiaomi was playing an online game at an internet café. He quickly located her and pulled her out. Lin Haoshu was furious, but Wang Xiaomi was delighted.
She mockingly asked if he cared about her, to which he retorted he wouldn't care if she weren't his student. As he tried to leave, she theatrically threatened to jump from a high place if he did. After he tried to coax her, then grew angry again, she knew he still worried about Wen Suxi and declared she would wait for him "whether in the wind or in the rain."
Meanwhile, Wen Suxi had fallen asleep on the sofa while cleaning. Chi Yu, intending to cover her, saw her smiling in her sleep. Curious, he entered her dream, where she was treating him as a servant, making him wipe carefully, clean beer cans, and even polish the floor in five minutes, or face kneeling for three days.
Chi Yu then mischievously transported her to the top of a tall building, her greatest fear, where she clung tightly to him, begging to be let down. He seized the opportunity to make her apologize, promise never to drink when he wasn't around, and not to be so close to other men, as it would "upset" him. Only then did he bring her out of the dream.
Chi Yu carried the sleeping Wen Suxi to his bed, carefully arranging clothes beneath her to ensure her comfort. The next morning, Cai Shumeng woke up and prepared breakfast for Tang Mao. He tried to explain the previous night's events as unintentional, but his assistant, Jiang Yu, conveniently arrived, interrupting him. Tang Mao quickly departed with Jiang Yu, leaving Cai Shumeng alone to deduce his intentions from his dismissive attitude.
Wen Suxi awoke in Chi Yu's bed, startled and remembering fragments of her drunken antics. Mortified, she tried to sneak out through a window to avoid Lin Haoshu, who was downstairs. Chi Yu, aware of Lin Haoshu's presence, attempted to distract him in the kitchen. However, Wen Suxi became stuck on the second-floor balcony, a sight Lin Haoshu discovered. Embarrassed, she was rescued. Wen Suxi angrily called Chi Yu an "unreliable hypocrite," declaring they should break up in peace.
Yet, her attitude shifted completely when Chi Yu asked her to meet that evening at eight o'clock, on a mountain. She was surprised by the location for a business discussion. Wen Suxi meticulously dressed for her evening appointment. As she left, she encountered Tang Mao, who had come to invite her to dinner. Seeing her dressed up, he guessed she had another engagement and decided to reschedule. Tang Mao expressed his desire to remain friends, cherishing their long-standing connection.
Wen Suxi affirmed her trust and willingness to continue their friendship, agreeing to his suggestion that the three of them—Wen Suxi, Tang Mao, and Chi Yu—should have dinner together sometime, so Tang Mao could get to know Chi Yu better. Chi Yu and Hua Yecheng journeyed to Yiwu Hall to obtain Wen Suxi's star map from Youwu. Hua Yecheng playfully teased Youwu, calling him "tactless" and a "wanderer on the edge of the universe."
As a trade, Hua Yecheng offered "ten years of an earth person's time." Chi Yu questioned whose time it was, but Hua Yecheng brushed him off, stating that the star map was more important than knowing the person's identity. Upon receiving it, Chi Yu discovered the star map was completely blank.
Youwu explained that ever since Chi Yu saved Wen Suxi from the car accident, her energy had been forcibly changed, making the trajectory on her star map impossible to calculate, thus rendering it blank. Chi Yu, feeling tricked, accused Youwu of deliberately trapping them and angrily moved to attack him. Youwu warned him that as a "criminal," killing him would make him "doubly guilty," and provocatively asked if he cared about "that poor woman."
Chi Yu backed down, proposing a new deal: Youwu would help Wen Suxi survive her next tribulation. Youwu agreed, but demanded something "more precious than life itself" in return. Hua Yecheng dismissed Youwu's demand as "mystifying," suggesting they rely on their own abilities instead. That evening, the Summer Fashion Week officially commenced. Dora, scheduled as a finale guest, was backstage preparing for makeup.
Ping, her manager, intentionally brought a newcomer, Jiahan, and reassigned Dora's stylists to her, implying Dora was "naturally beautiful" and less urgent. Seeing the situation, Hu Dongkai promptly sent his own stylist to assist Dora, a gesture she appreciated. Due to recent media rumors about Dora and Hu Dongkai's breakup, the organizers altered the lineup, moving Dora to perform earlier in the show, with Hu Dongkai retaining the finale spot. Dora, though disheartened, maintained a composed demeanor.
Hua Yecheng, in an effort to aid Chi Yu, prepared a spectacular fireworks display for Chi Yu's meeting with Wen Suxi to create a conducive atmosphere for using the "forehead touched" method to sense her future tribulation. Wen Suxi arrived, delighted by the fireworks, though she questioned if setting them off was permissible. She clarified to Chi Yu that her elaborate attire was for another appointment, not for him, and then stated she no longer wished to cancel their contract.
Following Hua Yecheng's earlier playful and exaggerated instructions—which included finding a place with "no retreat," "locking her with your eyes," "enchanting her," "holding her," or even "pushing her on the wall like in TV series"—Chi Yu tried to initiate the "forehead touched" sensing. Wen Suxi misunderstood his advances, believing he was about to kiss her, and playfully puckered her lips in response.
However, Chi Yu, seeking to re-enact the method precisely, consulted Hua Yecheng via an earpiece about the exact pressure ("heavily or gently"), position ("upper or lower"), and whether a kiss was involved last time. Despite Chi Yu's various attempts and positions, he sensed nothing. Frustrated, Wen Suxi asked him what he was doing. Chi Yu, at a loss for a proper explanation, simply told her they were playing "the horn game," leaving Wen Suxi utterly bewildered and speechless.
