Hua Yecheng found Chi Yu sitting alone under a tree. Chi Yu wondered if he regretted meeting Wen Suxi or coming to Earth, only to now force himself to forget her. Hua Yecheng stated that Tang Mao "has to learn a lesson" and warned Chi Yu not to oppose him. Chi Yu then reminded Hua Yecheng that they must retrieve Wen Suxi's star map that night. Wang Xiaomi went to Chi Yu's residence, finding Lin Haoshu there.
She claimed she was waiting for her "master." Lin Haoshu used a trick to get her outside and locked her out of the house. Inside, Wang Xiaomi discovered two walkie-talkies. Lin Haoshu reluctantly gave one to her and took the other upstairs. He tricked her into going outside to test the range, then quickly locked the door and told her to go home safely, pretending the signal was breaking up.
At Tang Mao's office, Cai Shumeng brought some documents and noticed a blood-stained shirt. Tang Mao's assistant appeared and escorted her out. To recall the events of the previous night, Tang Mao consulted a hypnotist, but he still could not remember anything. Heartbroken by Chi Yu's sudden coldness, Wen Suxi was absent-minded, even while eating. She threw away the plush dolls that Chi Yu had won for her.
Later, she drank alcohol and went to Chi Yu's house, but Chi Yu was not there, and she was met by Lin Haoshu. Chi Yu and Hua Yecheng found the curator, who confessed that Wen Suxi's star map had not been in his possession for a long time, emphasizing that it should have been destroyed as her energy was depleted. The curator warned them that Wen Suxi's second calamity was imminent and advised them to seek Youwu for help.
Hua Yecheng explained that dealing with Youwu was notoriously difficult, as he demands equivalent exchange, specifically, the time of an Earth human. Back at Chi Yu's house, Wen Suxi pulled Lin Haoshu into a drinking session. Lin Haoshu confessed his enduring feelings, promising to stay by her side forever. Wen Suxi, too drunk to take him seriously, then asked him to help her call Chi Yu home.
They both yelled for Chi Yu using a megaphone until Wen Suxi eventually passed out. Lin Haoshu reflected on his unrequited love and decided to leave Wen Suxi. Soon after, Wang Xiaomi reappeared, interrupting the drunken scene. Wen Suxi, still drunk, recounted humorous childhood anecdotes about herself and Lin Haoshu. These stories made Wang Xiaomi feel excluded. Chi Yu returned home to find both Wen Suxi and Lin Haoshu intoxicated.
Lin Haoshu discovered that Wang Xiaomi had left her phone behind. Worried, he rushed out to search for her, leaving Wen Suxi in Chi Yu's care. Wen Suxi almost fell, but Chi Yu steadied her. Feigning indifference, she tried to leave, but Chi Yu told her to clean up the mess she had made first. Although she grumbled, Wen Suxi began tidying the room. Chi Yu retreated to his room, smiling faintly.
Lin Haoshu searched for Wang Xiaomi, using the walkie-talkie to contact her. Wang Xiaomi reported that a group of hostile people were trying to rob her and that she was hiding in a ruined temple, urging him to come and rescue her.
