Deep Lurk Episode 38 (Ending) Recap
> Deep Lurk Recap
Ke Jingping took out a photo. The person lying on the photo was Yun Muzhi. He told Yun Hongshen to see the date clearly on it. He said that Yun Hongshen kept saying that Yun Muzhi was killed by the Japanese, but how could he explain this photo?
Ke Jingping also said that the reason this photo was taken so clearly was because the Japanese were, firstly, reassuring Yun Hongshen's safety, and secondly, urging him to complete the task at hand quickly. Ke Jingping said that was why Yun Hongshen sped up and found the key in less than a day, and also found the intelligence. Ke Jingping slapped the photo on the table and asked Yun Hongshen if he didn't think all of this was too coincidental.
Cheng Huize went on to say that he felt the matter of Yun Muzhi was not simple from the beginning, so he investigated in secret, sparing no expense to activate his hidden contact in a Japanese prison in Shanghai, who risked his life to take three photos of clothes. Cheng Huize said it was worth it though. He said these photos confirmed his suspicion: Yun Muzhi was not dead.
Yun Hongqi looked at the photo in his hand and said it was impossible, that Yun Hongshen could not do such a thing. Cheng Huize pointed at Yun Hongqi and asked him to tell him if the person in this photo was Yun Muzhi. Yun Hongqi said the person in the photo was blurry and he couldn't see clearly. Cheng Huize said these two brothers were really alike.
He said that even if his biological father turned to ash, he should be able to recognize him if he couldn't see clearly. After saying that, Cheng Huize seemed to suddenly remember something and said he forgot that Yun Hongqi was not biological. Yun Hongqi said that he and Cheng Huize were old acquaintances. He watched how Cheng Huize had changed from a beast in human clothes to a true villain who twisted right and wrong as he was today.
Cheng Huize slapped the table, ready to speak, but Ke Jingping told him not to be reckless. He told Yun Hongqi to produce evidence if he wasn't convinced. Yun Hongqi said they were slandering him. Ke Jingping asked him if he was sure. Yun Hongqi said he was sure. Ke Jingping asked again. Yun Hongshen didn't want them to argue anymore. He called out to Yun Hongqi.
Yun Hongqi said that if Yun Hongshen had listened to him earlier, he wouldn't have become like this today. Yun Hongshen said this matter had nothing to do with Yun Hongqi. Ke Jingping said that if Yun Hongshen didn't give him an explanation today, then Yun Hongqi shouldn't even think about leaving. Yun Hongshen said that everything Ke Jingping said was right.
Upon hearing this, Yun Hongqi just wanted to hit Yun Hongshen, but he was taken away by Xiao Dao and the others. After returning home, Secretary Wu told Yun Hongqi that all of this was part of Yun Hongshen's plan. He told Yun Hongqi that Yun Hongshen was using himself as bait and was prepared to make a sacrifice. Yun Hongqi became very anxious upon hearing this. He asked Secretary Wu if he could go in Yun Hongshen's place.
Secretary Wu told him not to worry and that they were confident they would achieve victory. Next, Secretary Wu told Yun Hongqi about their plan and said the key to its success was to install a wire on the roof of Ke Jingping's secret room so they could hear the conversation between Yun Hongshen and Ke Jingping. Yun Hongqi asked who would do this. Secretary Wu had already arranged everything.
Just as he was speaking, Xiao Dao brought something in, saying someone had thrown it in. Yun Hongqi saw it was Wen Yeming asking to meet him. As soon as the two met, Wen Yeming asked Yun Hongqi if he was with Yun Hongshen, otherwise, he wouldn't have given Yun Hongqi the task of startling Zong Fang away. Yun Hongqi said he was just helping them with things and asked Wen Yeming to tell them her plan.
Wen Yeming saw that Yun Hongqi had been photographed and that Ke Jingping also knew. Then Wen Yeming and Yun Hongqi deliberately put on an act to be caught by Ke Jingping. The two of them attracted most of the attention. Captain Tang then had time to install the wire on the roof.
Zhu He, who was initially skeptical about this matter, received a phone call telling him that if he wanted to know the truth, he should go to the roof and look for a red wire and ask Xu Weihua to figure something out. Xu Weihua answered the phone and they successfully heard the conversation between Ke Jingping and Yun Hongshen. Ke Jingping wanted Yun Hongshen to say what he had written. Yun Hongshen said that was impossible.
Then he used Ke Jingping's confidence to defeat him, and Ke Jingping's identity as Kunwu was completely exposed. Zhu He and the others also learned the truth and brought Wen Yeming and the others in. Ke Jingping was about to grab his gun but was shot dead by Zhu He and the others. Yun Hongshen welcomed a new challenge in the anti-Japanese resistance.
