Beautiful Reborn Flower Episode 27 Recap
> Beautiful Reborn Flower Recap
Han Sen, taking Xiao Zhi's earlier advice to heart, successfully secured Xue Lai's endorsement for Leping Pavilion and presented the signed agreement to Qiao Man. Qiao Man was pleasantly surprised by the news. Han Sen, however, clarified that while he was willing to make business compromises, his personal relationships were non-negotiable. He then asserted that Lin Heping was merely a fleeting presence in Qiao Man's life, and she would inevitably return to him, a statement that left Qiao Man speechless.
Qiao Man later showcased various outfits to Xue Lai for her upcoming events, which Xue Lai greatly admired, praising Qiao Man's artistic eye. Qiao Man, in turn, thanked her for the opportunity. Xue Lai then mentioned that the endorsement was largely due to Han Sen's dedicated efforts and suggested Qiao Man should be most grateful to him. Observing the dynamic between Qiao Man and Han Sen, Xue Lai openly inquired about their "extraordinary" relationship.
Qiao Man clarified that she and Han Sen, having known each other since their time in Barcelona, were merely good friends. Xue Lai, though, expressed her belief that Han Sen was the most suitable partner for Qiao Man, describing Lin Heping as merely a "passer-by" in her romantic journey. Meanwhile, at the company, Lin Heping had been visibly angry and had completely ignored Ah Li all day.
Ah Li, feeling deep regret and disappointment in herself, silently acknowledged that Lin Heping likely hated her. Despite this, she desperately clung to the hope that their decade-long bond wouldn't be completely shattered. With this resolve, she instructed Yang Lan to accompany her home. At home, Ah Li presented Yang Lan with her property ownership certificate, instructing her to sell the house immediately to cover the company's financial deficit.
Yang Lan was shocked, especially upon learning the house's value of 20 million RMB. Ah Li revealed that the fraudulent accounting scheme had been exposed, and Lin Heping knew because incriminating messages were found on He Jianfeng's phone. A terrified Yang Lan was reassured by Ah Li that she wouldn't be implicated. Yang Lan expressed concern about Ah Li selling her only home, questioning where she would live.
Ah Li, however, believed that Lin Heping wouldn't abandon her if she had nowhere else to go, viewing this as a desperate chance to mend their relationship and avoid losing to Qiao Man. She adamantly stated that losing Lin Heping would be the greatest tragedy of her life, unwilling to let their long history end in regret. Despite Yang Lan's misgivings, she reluctantly agreed to proceed with the sale.
Qiao Man later met with Lin Heping, who immediately apologized for his prior misguided trust in Ah Li regarding the fake accounts, which had almost led him to wrongly accuse Qiao Man and her sister. He expressed regret for trusting Ah Li wholeheartedly, which resulted in unhappiness. Qiao Man graciously accepted his apology, stating that the past was behind them.
She then presented him with the draft agreement for Xue Lai's endorsement of Leping Pavilion, explaining that Han Sen had made significant sacrifices to secure it. Lin Heping, pleased with the agreement, assured Qiao Man that he would not engage in conflict with Han Sen, as he didn't want her to feel caught between them.
Director Yan informed Lin Heping of his intent to formally pursue legal action regarding the fraudulent accounts, threatening to sue Qiao Fang if she didn't relinquish He Jianfeng's house to cover the 10 million RMB deficit. Lin Heping intervened, proposing that if someone repaid the 10 million RMB to the company, the lawsuit against Qiao Fang could be avoided. Director Yan was incredulous, finding such an offer "impossible," but Lin Heping pressed him.
Director Yan eventually agreed to drop the matter if the money was returned, but he voiced suspicions, acknowledging Lin Heping's relationship with Qiao Man and Qiao Fang's connection to He Jianfeng. He cautioned Lin Heping against protecting anyone, but Lin Heping assured him of his ability to separate personal feelings from business responsibilities. Seeing Lin Heping unwilling to elaborate further, Director Yan accepted his proposal, stressing the importance of the company's ongoing projects and brand image.
Lin Heping pledged to ensure the money was returned. Qiao Fang went to the company seeking Ah Li, but Ah Li was not present. Qiao Fang, however, recognized Yang Lan, recalling her suspicious visit to He Jianfeng's house where she had deceptively asked for water before fleeing. Qiao Fang confronted Yang Lan, accusing her of being Ah Li's accomplice, asserting that Yang Lan had stolen He Jianfeng's stamp to frame him for the fraud.
Yang Lan vehemently denied the accusations and tried to break free from Qiao Fang's grasp, screaming for help. Company security quickly intervened and escorted a protesting Qiao Fang out of the building. With her house now listed for sale, Ah Li saw an opportunity to force her way back into Lin Heping's life. She arrived at his apartment with luggage, coincidentally encountering Qiao Fang at the entrance.
Qiao Fang immediately confronted Ah Li, accusing her of embezzling company funds and framing He Jianfeng. A heated argument erupted between the two women. Hearing the commotion, Lin Heping rushed out to mediate, pulling Ah Li into his apartment. Qiao Fang warned Lin Heping not to be deceived by Ah Li's lies, but Lin Heping calmly assured her that the truth would eventually come to light. Inside, Lin Heping chastised Ah Li for her unrepentant attitude.
He was shocked to see her luggage and asked about it. Ah Li explained that since her house was being sold, she had nowhere else to go and intended to stay with him. Lin Heping was visibly upset, stating there was no room for her and offering to find and pay for a rental apartment.
Ah Li, however, reminded him of their past, when they lived together during their initial entrepreneurial days, implying his current discomfort was due to his newfound wealth. Lin Heping countered that his comfort then was because he was unaware of her true motives. Ah Li insisted that she had already been punished by losing her home and shouldn't be left to fend for herself. Ignoring his objections, she walked directly into his room and settled in.
Han Sen invited Qiao Man to discuss the finalized collaboration agreement. When Xiao Zhi attempted to listen in, Han Sen rudely sent her away. Qiao Man reviewed the agreement and thanked Han Sen for his generosity, suggesting they remain friends. Han Sen, however, expressed his pain and self-pity, remarking that this was the first and last time he would help Lin Heping.
He lamented feeling like a "clown," ridiculed by his peers and even by himself, for being a "slave for girls" and a "loser" who helped his rival while his heart bled. He despaired over the imminent departure of the woman he loved. Qiao Man tried to console him, affirming he was a "hero" and a "real man," and reiterated her desire for them to be friends, as a romantic relationship wasn't possible.
Han Sen, still bitter, sarcastically noted the "endless shame" hidden behind the label of "friends" after his defeat to Lin Heping. Qiao Man advised him not to be so hard on himself. She then took the agreement and departed, promising to attend Yi Pin Media's upcoming opening ceremony. Concerned about Han Sen, Xiao Zhi urgently called Qiao Man to meet, eager to know what had transpired. Qiao Man recounted their discussion about the contract.
Xiao Zhi then probed Qiao Man's feelings for Han Sen, asking if she was "giving up on him." Qiao Man clarified that since they were never in a relationship, there was nothing to give up on, emphasizing her desire to remain only friends with Han Sen. Xiao Zhi mentioned that Han Sen was "crazy about" Qiao Man and that many girls in the company were interested in him.
Qiao Man simply suggested they pursue him and reiterated her blessing if Han Sen found a good girl, reaffirming her platonic friendship with him. Xiao Zhi, clearly harboring feelings for Han Sen, appeared on the verge of confessing but held back. Qiao Man then casually rose and left. Xiao Zhi was left with the unspoken thought of whether Qiao Man would still speak so casually if she knew of Xiao Zhi's love for Han Sen.
Qiao Fang, unwilling to accept He Jianfeng's bequest, arranged for Lawyer Li to transfer the property to Wen Jing instead. Lawyer Li presented the document, explaining that although He Jianfeng's will designated Qiao Fang as the inheritor, Qiao Fang chose to renounce her claim, thereby reassigning the property to He Jianfeng's sole legal heir, Wen Jing. After the necessary documents were signed, Lawyer Li departed.
Wen Jing then expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Qiao Fang, realizing she had previously misunderstood Qiao Fang's true feelings for He Jianfeng. Qiao Fang reiterated that the property didn't belong to her, and she was simply relieved that the truth had been revealed, crediting Wen Jing's persistence for clearing He Jianfeng's name. Qiao Fang humbly stated it was her duty.
Lin Heping tried to arrange a rental apartment for Ah Li through Zhuo Yang, offering to cover the costs, but Ah Li snatched the phone and hung up, stubbornly refusing to leave his house. She offered to cook for him, but Lin Heping, feeling uncomfortable with her presence, fabricated an excuse about needing to buy soy sauce and left.
Ah Li then went to Qiao Man's apartment, using the pretense of borrowing soy sauce, but her true intention was to confront her. Upon Qiao Man's return, Ah Li explicitly stated that she had moved in and was now living with Lin Heping, warning Qiao Man to stay out of their affairs. Qiao Man, understanding Ah Li's attempt to provoke her, remained calm and asserted that she would only believe what Lin Heping told her.
Ah Li further emphasized her long history with Lin Heping, declaring them neighbors, and menacingly promised to "keep an eye on" Qiao Man. Before Qiao Man could even enter her home, she received a call from Lin Heping, who asked her to meet him downstairs for a jog. When they met, Lin Heping promptly explained Ah Li's unexpected presence in his apartment. He acknowledged the tension it caused, noting Qiao Fang's distress and the disruption to their previously harmonious neighborhood.
Qiao Man admitted that she and her sister had been contemplating moving out because of Ah Li. Lin Heping quickly interjected, urging her not to leave and asking for some time to resolve the situation, promising to ensure Ah Li would move out. Qiao Man, seeing his earnestness, subtly smiled, indicating her trust in him. Yi Pin Media officially held its opening ceremony, attended by numerous guests. Xiao Zhi was bustling around, managing the event.
Zhuo Yang approached her, flirting and offering her water, which annoyed Xiao Zhi, who questioned his presence. Just then, Lin Heping arrived. He and Han Sen exchanged pleasantries, with Han Sen expressing gratitude for Xue Lai's endorsement. Han Sen then declared that this cooperation marked the beginning of their formal "competition," to which Lin Heping responded that he appreciated "fair competition." Xue Lai and Qiao Man arrived at the ceremony.
Qiao Man and Lin Heping exchanged a warm glance and a smile, which clearly unsettled Han Sen. Soon after, An Kailun took the stage to deliver a speech. He publicly lauded Han Sen's hard work, expressing his pride in seeing Han Sen mature into a decisive, charismatic, and passionate leader who founded Yi Pin Media. Later, as Xue Lai, Lin Heping, and Han Sen raised their glasses for a toast, Xue Lai made an unexpected and pointed comment.
She acknowledged both men as outstanding but then stated that "somebody likes to take away other's woman by force. . . when the girl was already taken. It seems not very honourable," implying a criticism of Lin Heping. Qiao Man listened, completely baffled by Xue Lai's words. As Qiao Man stood alone, sipping wine, An Kailun approached her for a chat. He acknowledged her relationship with Lin Heping, remarking on her apparent happiness.
He then offered his personal perspective, having observed Han Sen mature from a "naughty" and "quick-tempered" youth into a man "crazy" about Qiao Man. An Kailun gently probed if Qiao Man would reconsider and give Han Sen another chance. Qiao Man apologized, explaining that she was already committed to Lin Heping and couldn't, though she assured him that she and Han Sen remained good friends.
An Kailun, however, expressed certainty that Han Sen desired more than just friendship and would relentlessly pursue anything he truly wanted, stating that Han Sen was ultimately a "better choice" for her, despite Lin Heping's commendable qualities. He advised Qiao Man to feel "no pressure" and to "be open," suggesting that "many good things" might still unfold, before gracefully taking his leave.
