Luo Jian reviewed the gathered intelligence, and he and Jiang Hao concluded that the mysterious woman's objective in hacking into the Qing'an Group system was to tamper with the identity information of the escort personnel. When pressed by Luo Jian, Mr. Sun disclosed that the day's escort mission, commissioned by Wen Yuanzheng, the owner of Wenhua Group, involved transporting the "Tears of Moon Goddess" necklace to a wedding ceremony.
Luo Jian immediately recalled Ding Shenghuo's past mention of this particular piece of jewelry. Xu Wei meticulously reconstructed the entire attack process on the system, uncovering two tampered data packets. One of these contained the information sheet for Su Ziyi, a supervisor at Qing'an Weida Company. However, the photo on the identity information did not match the real Su Ziyi.
A staff member confirmed that the person in the photo, who was impersonating Su Ziyi, had already passed identity verification and was currently on escort vehicle number three. Mr. Sun, realizing the gravity of the situation, broke into a cold sweat and ordered the vehicle's location to be tracked, which showed it was en route to Tonghe Building.
Luo Jian, noting that the escort personnel were prohibited from carrying phones during a mission and Wen Yuanzheng's phone was off, immediately drove with Mr. Sun to intercept the vehicle. He also observed Li Shuting's unusual behavior in this case, where she seemed to deliberately expose herself to surveillance, unlike her previous secretive actions, which he found unsettling.
Mr. Sun reassured Luo Jian that the custom-made safe, constructed of titanium alloy with a biometric palm print lock, would sound a 120 dB alarm if tampered with forcefully, preventing anyone from opening it without authorization. Luo Jian called Liao Shuang, instructing her to head to Tonghe Building. Liao Shuang, who was driving Zhuang Wenjie and Sun Zhijian back to school, had to drop them off midway.
Zhuang Wenjie, telling Sun Zhijian to take their luggage back to school, hailed a taxi and also headed to Tonghe Building. Upon arrival at Tonghe Building, Li Shuting, disguised as Su Ziyi, entered the building with the safe, leaving her handbag containing a signal jammer inside the escort vehicle. This jammer prevented Qing'an Group from contacting the escort driver.
Li Shuting, introducing herself as Su Ziyi, the special supervisor from Qing'an Weida Company, proceeded with the handover procedures, verifying Wen Yuanzheng's identity and identification code. She then invited Miss Shang, Wen Yuanzheng's bride, to open the specially customized safe using her palm print. Miss Shang was captivated by the "Tears of Moon Goddess" necklace, exclaiming how beautiful it was and how it resembled a tear.
Li Shuting, after a moment of internal reflection wishing for a normal life away from her current activities, offered to help Miss Shang put on the necklace, noting its hidden clasp. While assisting, Li Shuting swapped the original "Tears of Moon Goddess" necklace. She then mentioned that the "Tears of Moon Goddess" emitted a unique glow.
When Miss Shang, eager to see it, requested the room be darkened, Li Shuting volunteered to switch off the lights and instructed staff to draw the curtains. As the room plunged into darkness, Li Shuting locked the door from the outside and slipped away. Wen Yuanzheng and Miss Shang, realizing the necklace wasn't glowing, asked for Miss Su to turn on the lights, only to discover she had vanished and the door was locked.
Wen Yuanzheng immediately ordered his staff to find her. Li Shuting went to the restroom, changed into clothes she had placed there beforehand, and confidently left by elevator. Liao Shuang arrived at Tonghe Building and instructed the guards downstairs to apprehend Li Shuting (still in her Su Ziyi disguise) if they saw her. Zhuang Wenjie arrived shortly after and, seeing Li Shuting exiting an elevator, recognized her as the mysterious woman from the swimming pool and immediately pursued her.
Luo Jian's team arrived, and Luo Jian himself spotted Li Shuting speeding out of the underground garage on a motorcycle. He ordered her to stop, but she defiantly accelerated away. Luo Jian, confirming from his team that the "Tears of Moon Goddess" had been stolen, immediately got into his car to chase her. Zhuang Wenjie, seeing Luo Jian's pursuit, quickly flagged down a taxi and joined the chase.
Li Shuting raced through the streets, making a sudden turn into a maze-like urban village to evade her pursuers. Zhuang Wenjie, in his taxi, consulted a map to anticipate her escape route. As Li Shuting sped through an intersection, she was struck by a car that had the right of way. Injured but determined, she threw her helmet in the opposite direction to mislead the police, then stumbled into a nearby construction site.
She quickly changed into worker's clothes to blend in. Luo Jian and his team initially followed the helmet, only to realize they had been fooled. They redirected their search to the construction site, fanning out to find her. Zhuang Wenjie, however, quickly located Li Shuting on a stairwell. He offered to give her the palm print and iris scans he possessed if she would explain what happened twelve years ago.
Li Shuting, telling him that what was in his bag was no longer important to her, bluntly refused as police sirens grew louder. With the police closing in, Li Shuting scrambled to the rooftop, with Zhuang Wenjie relentlessly pursuing her, urging her to surrender. On the rooftop, realizing her capture was inevitable, Li Shuting confronted Zhuang Wenjie.
She urged him to abandon his quest for revenge for his father, Zhuang Yaobo, revealing that his father was murdered rather than dying in an accident, a fact Zhuang Wenjie was unaware of. As Luo Jian and his officers approached, Li Shuting, taking them by surprise, seized Zhuang Wenjie, holding him hostage. She implored him to stay away from the mastermind and cease his investigation, warning that he would otherwise meet the same fate as her and his father.
Seeing a crane slowly nearing the edge of the rooftop, Li Shuting abruptly pushed Zhuang Wenjie away and dramatically leaped, catching hold of the crane's hook, and swung away into the air.
