Bai Lan and Qin Juan went to the security department to check the surveillance footage. They were surprised to find that most of the factory's surveillance cameras were broken. In the only working surveillance footage, a strange figure appeared. Even the person who had been in the security department for decades didn't recognize him. Clearly, he was not from the factory. The person in the security department asked Bai Lan to recall carefully to see if she had any impression.

Bai Lan turned and went into the cold storage where the incident happened to check the situation. Unexpectedly, Lu Xiaolu was also inside. The two were analyzing the clues on the ground when someone actually locked the door from the outside. It was Niu Xiaoying who wanted to punish the person who injured her father. When Niu Xiaoying heard Lu Xiaolu's voice inside, she hesitated for a moment but still left.

Lu Xiaolu and Bai Lan analyzed the footprints on the ground. Bai Lan knew Lu Xiaolu still suspected Huang Qing, but Bai Lan said no. Back when Bai Lan was in the most difficult situation, Huang Qing helped her. Bai Lan was unwilling to suspect him. Lu Xiaolu didn't say anything either. At this moment, Qin Juan and Li Guangnan arrived and let the two out. Bai Lan left after getting out.

That night, Lu Xiaolu pulled Li Guangnan to run on the street. Li Guangnan knew Lu Xiaolu was still heartbroken and thought the two had rekindled their old relationship. It was all because he had left without saying goodbye back then and had felt guilty for so many years.

Li Guangnan was full of doubt. Lu Xiaolu nodded repeatedly. Li Guangnan could only shrug and pulled Lu Xiaolu to go home.

He also said that what the other party wanted was sales channels, but Fucheng couldn't provide them, and neither could Bai Lan. He also said the other party would leave Fucheng the next day and would never come back again, and that Bai Lan had no chance. Bai Lan became anxious. She stated directly that if this were the case, the food factory would not be able to resume work.

Boss Huang, however, said then they wouldn't resume work for now. Then he brought up the real estate matter. Bai Lan was angry that Boss Huang had been hiding it from her all along and had quietly watched her become anxious and frustrated. Bai Lan disagreed. She insisted on trying again. Bai Lan asked for a month's time, but Boss Huang only gave her five days. That night, Lu Xiaolu and Li Guangnan and a few others had dinner together.

Niu Xiaoying took the opportunity to apologize for locking Bai Lan and Lu Xiaolu in the cold storage. Qin Juan mentioned the matter of Bai Lan betting with Boss Huang about sales channels. He said he wanted to do equity swap cooperation and didn't want to involve them. Li Guangnan got angry and made Lu Xiaolu choose between Bai Lan's side and their side. Lu Xiaolu didn't say anything. Li Guangnan left, and Niu Xiaoying also left. Chang Jiao, however, had not spoken. That night, Chang Jiao stood with Lu Xiaolu. Chang Jiao expressed understanding and said he would try to persuade Xiaoying after going back.

The next day, Lu Xiaolu went to Bai Lan's office to talk about cooperation with Bai Lan. Boss Huang happened to encounter them and immediately turned around and called the Italians. When Bai Lan and Lu Xiaolu went to find them, the other party had already left. The two could only look for new OEM brands. Boss Huang also started talking to Deputy Mayor Bi about the land matter. Boss Huang hoped to finalize this matter as soon as possible.

Deputy Mayor Bi, however, reminded Boss Huang to keep a close eye on Bai Lan. If the food factory was really revived, then all their plans would be ruined.
