As she explores, a projector on the wall begins playing a montage of their shared memories Zhang Lurang had secretly recorded over the years.
The video includes significant dates, from surviving the "doomsday" in 2012 to their official first day as a couple in 2015, culminating in a note from that very day, stating his intention to propose. Moved to tears, Su Zaizai realizes he, too, had cherished and documented their journey. Seizing the moment, Zhang Lurang formally proposes.
He shares that for the first seventeen years of his life, his focus was merely on his own existence, but meeting her gave him a reason to look forward to tomorrow. He dreams of a future where she is the first person he sees every morning, where they watch movies, take walks, and raise a child together.
