In a cage, "that person," who has waited eight thousand years, makes a deal with Purple Flame: he will grant her eternal life and power in exchange for everything she holds dear, including her kindness and peace, transforming her into his servant capable only of hatred. For revenge, Purple Flame agrees, selling her soul. " That person" touches her forehead, and spiritual threads sweep her body, making her appearance become witch-like, evil, and terrifying.

Wherever Purple Flame walks, fierce fires ignite. In the name of the Void God, "that person" promises that those who hurt Purple Flame will kneel before her child's whip, crying in pain, but will not be forgiven, their bodies burning in ground fire until nothing but ash remains. Meanwhile, in Tianqi Imperial City, Muyun Sheng voluntarily chooses to reside in the Celestial Prison, entrusting court affairs to Yu Xinji and requesting gold coins be sent to his cell.

Muyun Sheng throws the gold coins on the ground and releases golden insects from a cage. While Muyun Sheng sleeps against the wall, a small insect from his bamboo cage escapes and eats through a third of the floor. Awakened, Muyun Sheng discovers a beautiful, exquisite jade fragment under the collapsing floor, later revealed to be an incomplete Imperial Seal inscribed with "Yongchang." He marvels at its natural beauty. Long Jinhuan then arrives to fulfill their past agreement.

He shows Muyun Sheng a Mandara flower, explaining that Pan Xi's spiritual threads can re-condense into a flesh-and-blood body where these flowers bloom, allowing her to be with Muyun Sheng forever. Moved by the possibility of Pan Xi's resurrection, Muyun Sheng immediately takes off his dragon robe and leaves with Long Jinhuan to find this most beautiful place where the Mandara flowers bloom, ready to abandon everything for Pan Xi.

In the underground city, Hasicong (also referred to as Teacher Ha) has deciphered the mystery of a ciphertext sphere, finding the location of the Imperial Seal.

He draws the location on paper and informs Fanla King (also referred to as Fanla Kaise) of its origin: eight thousand years ago, during the great war between the Desolate God and the Void God, the Desolate God shattered and disappeared, while the Void God's spirit died and its body became the earth, giving rise to all things and the Six Tribes of Jiuzhou.

The long-sought Imperial Seal is a fragment of the Desolate God that fell from the sky when the Void God became earth. It carries the Desolate God's spirit, pursuing peace and eternity, and possesses the power to stabilize everything, which is why imperial families carved it, hoping it would stabilize their rule, though no Jiuzhou dynasty ever truly achieved eternity or peace.

Fanla King, though not fully listening to the backstory, recognizes that the map shows the human imperial city, Tianqi City. In the imperial court, Yu Xinji kneels before the empty dragon throne with Muru generals, pleading for the release of the Muru clan and affirming their loyalty. Court officials, including Gusong Zhi, mock Yu Xinji, stating everyone knows his orders are effectively Muyun Sheng's. Yu Xinji ignores them, even grabbing Gusong Zhi's collar in anger.

Muru generals beg for immediate action, warning that if the Muru clan crosses the strait to Shangzhou, it will be too late. Yu Xinji publicly defends the Muru clan's mission to maintain order and protect the Muyun empire, asserting they are not disloyal, and vows to wait for Muyun Sheng's return to personally order their release. Meanwhile, the Muru clan, burdened with shackles and handcuffs, is being escorted to Huanhai.

Along the way, the Silver Armored Army mocks them, even speaking disrespectfully to Muru Hanshan, prompting Mu Ruhanjiang to suddenly appear and punish a disrespectful guard. Mu Ruhanjiang follows the clan, gathering wild fruits and providing fever medicine for Han Chuan and others.

However, Muru Suo (also referred to as Muru Su) refuses his help, calling Mu Ruhanjiang a regicide and unworthy of the Muru family name, stating that the Muru would rather die standing than live kneeling, and insisting Mu Ruhanjiang leave. Though Mu Ruhanjiang states he only seeks peace of mind and not the Muru surname, Muru Suo's words force him to stop and bid farewell.

That night, Muru Hanshan tells his father, Muru Suo, that no one truly believes Mu Ruhanjiang committed regicide; instead, the Muru surname implicated him, and he has been alone for years due to his name being exploited by treacherous officials. Muru Suo, though not directly responding, implies hope by sighing that "as long as someone remains, they have hope." Unbeknownst to them, Mu Ruhanjiang overhears this conversation from the shadows.

The next day, Mu Ruhanjiang returns, declaring his resolve to stay with the Muru clan and affirming he will not change his surname even if it brings no honor or wealth. Muru Suo, comforted, tacitly accepts his presence. Soon after, Su Yuning, who has been waiting for days, appears and tells Mu Ruhanjiang she will wait for him in Tianqi City.

Fearing he cannot bring her happiness and stability, or that she will suffer, Mu Ruhanjiang bitterly tells her he has never liked her. Su Yuning, however, refuses to believe him, crying and shouting that she will wait forever, regardless of his coldness. Mu Ruhanjiang also cries, admitting his greatest fear is her suffering, which is why he does not want her to wait.

Muru Hanshan and Muru Hanchuan warn him that if he does not go to Su Yuning upon their return, they will not forgive him. Su Yuning watches Mu Ruhanjiang leave, reiterating that she will remain in Tianqi City, awaiting his return. At Tianqi City, the armies of Jing Prince and Qing Prince advance. Yu Xinji decides to close the city gates and resist, vowing to defend this territory for Muyun Han.

At a Jiuzhou inn, a waiter advises Qin Yufeng to flee Tianqi. Qin Yufeng refuses to abandon Nanku Yueli, who is described as feeble-minded or mad. With Nanku Yueli's consent, he insists on taking her with him. However, as she turns her back to Qin Yufeng, Nanku Yueli reveals a sinister smile, her expression perfectly normal. Meanwhile, Muyun Han, joined by Muyun Yanshuang, leads the Muyun Silver Armored and Muru Iron Cavalry from Hanzhou.

He inspires his troops with the honor of their ancestors, preparing to return to Tianqi, eliminate treacherous officials, and restore the clan emblems of both tribes. Muyun Sheng and Long Jinhuan are also on their way, pursuing the most beautiful place to revive Pan Xi. The Muru clan, having boarded a ship at Huanhai, is now sailing towards Shangzhou.

Shangzhou is the territory of the Quafu; the Muru clan must defeat the Quafu on the ice plains and establish a human city there to clear their injustice and rightfully return to Zhongzhou. The ship later strikes an iceberg. Mu Ruhanjiang swears to all Muru that he will ensure their dignified return to Zhongzhou and make the Muyun imperial family pay for their actions.

As the ship slowly proceeds, a giant with a huge axe is seen standing on a high tower on the ice plain, roaring at the sea, a sound that Mu Ruhanjiang hears with alertness. The land of Jiuzhou, created by the Void God, is on the brink of an unprecedented storm, where everything is destined to change.
