> Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy Recap

Hanzhou's northern region, near Manggu Mountain, is a land of heavy snow and fierce winds, where Shuofeng Heye travels alone through the blizzard. Simultaneously, Muyun Yanshuang leads her Muyun Silver Armor, including Gusong Tuo and other soldiers, to Hanzhou. Her mission is to obtain the Snow Wolf King's heart as a birthday gift for Muyun Han.

She believes that eating the heart grants forgetfulness of worries and immortality, and she intends for Muyun Han to present it to the Emperor to win his favor. The Snow Wolf King is a legendary creature, described as extremely ferocious and a consumer of humans, having survived over four hundred years in Manggu Mountain. It is feared by all in Hanzhou, resurrecting every twenty years, each time growing more powerful.

Gusong Tuo and the soldiers attempt to dissuade Yanshuang, warning that it is a sacred creature not easily caught. Muyun Yanshuang, however, is resolute. She declares that if the Muyun Silver Armor can defeat the Snow Wolf King, they will establish their standing in Hanzhou and even all of Kyushu, no longer having to hide behind the Muru Iron Cavalry. She aims to prove that they are not merely a royal army.

In her heart, no man in the world compares to Muyun Han, and she desires this gift to highlight his worth. Shuofeng Heye, who has tracked the Silver Armor unnoticed to Northern Hanzhou, observes Yanshuang's group as they rest in the forest. Gusong Tuo reminds Yanshuang not to drink too much, but she playfully teases him as a delicate scholar. After the soldiers return to their tents for the night, Heye seizes the opportunity to sneak into the camp.

He eats food from the campfire and initially intends to steal bows, arrows, and horses, and even harbored thoughts of killing Yanshuang in her tent. As Heye enters Yanshuang's tent and is about to act, he is stunned to realize that she is the princess who bought him from a slave camp when he was a child. He stares at her sleeping face, recalling their shared past. He lies on a felt mat, gazes at her, and then kisses her.

During his patrol, Gusong Tuo discovers footprints leading to the princess's tent. He enters and catches Shuofeng Heye molesting Yanshuang, quickly pulling him out. The Silver Armor soldiers immediately surround Heye, pointing their swords at his neck. Heye remains fearless, staring directly at Yanshuang. Yanshuang interrogates Heye about his reasons for being in Northern Hanzhou.

Heye boldly declares his intentions: to find the Chilang Cavalry, unite the Hanzhou Eight Tribes, attack Tianqi, and become the King of Kyushu, thereby reclaiming the entire empire. The Silver Armor soldiers mock his ideas as absurd. Gusong Tuo suggests killing Heye for privately raising warhorses, but Yanshuang intervenes, deciding instead to use Heye as bait to lure out the Snow Wolf King. Heye is once again Yanshuang's slave.

She drags him, tied with a rope, on horseback towards Manggu Mountain. Along the way, they encounter a lost Shuofang bird. Yanshuang demonstrates her fierce resolve by shooting it out of the sky with an arrow. When Heye learns her objective is the Snow Wolf King, he laughs at her arrogance. He reiterates his determination, vowing that one day he will be a hundred times more powerful than Muyun Han, and he will make Yanshuang his Great Dasanshi.

Meanwhile, in Tianqi City, Emperor Muyun Qin visits Ling Heqing of the Huangji Jingtian School at the Star Gazing Pavilion, seeking to alter Muyun Sheng's star destiny. Ling Heqing, kneeling, confirms that Sheng's destiny remains unchanged. The prophecy states that if Muyun Sheng wields power, the Duan Dynasty will fall; if he draws his sword on the throne, Kyushu will suffer immense devastation. His star destiny is fixed from birth and is unchangeable.

Muyun Qin refuses to believe the prophecy, questioning the accuracy of the Huangji Jingtian School's calculations. While the world brands Muyun Sheng as evil, Qin, as a father, sees only his son's kindness. He cannot bear to see his son burdened by such a fate and struggles to choose between the empire and Muyun Sheng.

Ling Heqing, observing the Emperor's predicament, advises him to act as the King of the Duan Dynasty, for the sake of all people, and eliminate Muyun Sheng. Qin attempts to persuade Ling Heqing to publicly declare that Sheng's destiny was miscalculated, wanting to protect his son, but Ling Heqing refuses, stating he can die for the Emperor but not dishonor the Huangji Jingtian School's reputation. The imperial court is in turmoil. Muyun Qin has recently recovered from a prolonged illness.

The powerful Nanku clan, which had been arrogant for five generations, was wiped out overnight, leaving the ministers in a state of fear. Many ministers feign illness and dare not attend court. Only Muru Suo and Gusong Zhi are present in the vast Golden Imperial Hall. Gusong Zhi privately informs Muru Suo that on the night Emperor Qin recovered, many witnessed a Mei Ling woman by Muyun Sheng's side. Furthermore, Emperor Qin now mistakes Empress Nanku for Yin Rong Fei.

The widespread belief is that the Mei Clan is causing trouble, and their growing influence threatens the empire and all human inhabitants of Kyushu, fearing a repeat of Yin Rong's tragedy. The instability within the Duan Dynasty deeply worries Muru Suo. He urges Gusong Zhi to join him in petitioning Muyun Qin to establish a Crown Prince, believing that only a settled succession can stabilize the empire and its people's morale.

Gusong Zhi agrees with the reasoning for establishing a Crown Prince, but they clash over the candidate. Muru Suo, adhering to tradition, advocates for Muyun Han, while Gusong Zhi champions Muyun Lu, criticizing Muyun Han as too indecisive and accusing Muru Suo of self-interest in his choice. Muyun Qin dismisses all attendants, retaining only Muru Suo and Gusong Zhi for a private discussion. They advise the Emperor to establish a Crown Prince.

Muru Suo and Qin disagree on the matter of Empress Nanku. Muru Suo, considering the well-being of the empire, implores Qin to quickly establish Muyun Han as Crown Prince to calm the populace. Qin does not respond to Muru Suo's plea. Gusong Zhi seizes the opportunity to report that Muyun Lu has gone to Qingyu Ridge to search for the Imperial Seal, hoping to create a good impression for Lu.

However, Qin is taken aback, not having anticipated that even Muyun Lu would vie for the throne. Muyun Qin reassigns military authority to Muru Suo, ordering him to ensure Muyun Lu's return and to keep any discoveries secret. Additionally, he commands Muyun Luan to immediately return to Tianqi for recuperation. Then, the Emperor makes a shocking declaration: the Duan Dynasty will establish Muyun Sheng as the Crown Prince.

Muru Suo and Gusong Zhi are astonished and vehemently object, attempting to dissuade him. Gusong Zhi argues that Muyun Sheng will bring disaster to the court. However, Muyun Qin's resolve is firm. He believes that since Muyun Sheng protected him during a critical moment, he will undoubtedly protect the myriad citizens of the empire in the future, making him the undisputed choice for Crown Prince of the Duan Dynasty.

Muru Suo and Gusong Zhi, as supervising grand ministers, continue their earnest pleas, but Muyun Qin's mind is made up and he refuses to change his decision despite Muyun Sheng's destructive star destiny.
