Meanwhile, Qiuhui expressed her disappointment that the annual fireworks event in Yushan City was canceled, lamenting that her birthday wish might not come true. Zhao Guobang, observing her sadness, was reminded of a fireworks festival from 30 years ago. He confessed to Ye Chengshu that he had a date with Qiuhui that year, which he missed.
He recounted how Qiuhui, after leaving Yushan Street to meet him, suffered a car accident and was helped by Gu Huaiheng, explaining her subsequent reluctance and fear of leaving the street. Ye Chengshu encouraged Zhao Guobang to perform a "miracle" and finally have their 30-year-late date.
