Later, Ye Kai stealthily added melatonin to Shao Moli's wine, ensuring he would not wake until the next morning. Knowing that An Yu was also occupied with a meeting for the Soulmate app team and wouldn't be back for a while, Ye Kai celebrated their newfound freedom with Lailai.
However, their attempts to buy new movie tickets at the cinema were thwarted; their account was flagged for "malicious operation" due to five consecutive cancellations, blocking them from purchasing tickets for 15 days. They settled for dinner at a restaurant, where Lailai mused that if they had made their relationship public from the start, they wouldn't have to constantly hide.
