The next day, Zheng Gang, captain of the Xinggang City Criminal Police Detachment, received a report, confirming the identity of the deceased as Yang Youmo.
Strangely, the Yang family's misfortune was known to everyone in Xinggang. A few months prior, Yang Youmo's wife died in an accidental fall, followed by the inexplicable death of his young son. Just one week later, his stepdaughter Yang Yan was swept away and disappeared by reservoir flood discharge. A family vanished from the earth like this.
