The Blood of Youth Episode 2 Recap
> The Blood of Youth Recap
Merchants and their attendants gradually left, leaving only a few in Belle’s Manor, including representatives from Wushuang City and the Demon Sect. Tang Lian spotted the white-haired man again. His martial arts and sword skills were astonishing—even Lu Yuzhai from Wushuang City was in awe and knew he was no match. Xiao Se suddenly invited the white-haired man to join the life-and-death gamble. The man agreed and summoned a dice cup from a distance like a magic trick.
The three dice instantly turned to dust—there wasn’t a single number left to see. But Xiao Se wasn’t surprised. As the dust settled, the dots of the three dice reappeared on the table in their proper arrangement. The man was stunned by the result, and Xiao Se exposed his identity. When “Tianwaitian, White-Haired Deity” was announced, the crowd was shocked—it turned out the white-haired man was Mo Qixuan, a protector of the Demon Sect.
In martial arts, there are nine ranks, and above them are four realms: Mortal Vajra Realm, Ground of Freedom Realm, Immortal Serenity Realm, and the legendary Divine Trance Realm. Mo Qixuan had already reached the Divine Trance Realm, making him one of the top masters in the martial world. Out of respect for Tang Lian and Lu Yuzhai as old acquaintances, White-Haired Deity held back in their duel.
Then a youth appeared carrying the Wushuang Sword Box—he was none other than the young lord of Wushuang City, Wushuang. While Mo Qixuan suppressed the sword box’s power and fled, Wushuang chased after him. Lu Yuzhai quickly sent people to retrieve the young lord. A group of black-clad men approached the carriage but were blocked by Tang Lian. Lei Wujie helped and saw a lotus rise behind them, which then exploded in the air. All the black-clad men vanished.
Lei Wujie looked up at the full moon, puzzled. Tang Lian realized something was wrong—they had fallen into the Illusory Void Formation, a dream-like trap where nothing was real. Although Lei Wujie had great talent and could dispel the surrounding evil energy, his willpower was weak. As flute music played, Tang Lian had to rely on sound to locate enemies and couldn’t spare any thought for breaking the formation.
Fortunately, Sikong Qianluo attacked the flutist in time, and once the music stopped, the formation dissolved. Now both Wushuang City and the Demon Sect sought the golden coffin. Lord Ming also wanted answers from it. Xiao Se revealed Lord Ming’s origin. Thirteen years ago, the Wangyi Tower was destroyed. The tower master’s eldest son, Xie Liuyi, barely survived but lost all memory. He became a killer under the Elder of Tianquan and took the name Lord Ming.
While Moon Ji fought Tang Lian to keep him occupied, Lord Ming opened the golden coffin. Everyone looked toward it. A pale hand reached out first, followed by a man who resembled a monk but had no monk scars. His demeanor was noble and ethereal, his appearance extremely handsome. Lord Ming recognized the monk and showed him deep respect. A single glance into his eyes revealed past memories and brought the answers he sought.
But that glance contorted Lord Ming’s expression with fear and rage. When Moon Ji tried to stab the monk, Lord Ming stopped her. After his frightful expression faded, he left Belle’s Manor with Moon Ji. Tang Lian and Lei Wujie, still on guard, locked eyes with the monk. That brief moment stirred something inside them. Just then, the monk Wuchan of Jiulong Sect rushed to the monk’s side and sealed his acupuncture points.
The monk closed his eyes and collapsed in Wuchan’s arms. They all set off together toward Xueyue City. Through conversation with Wuchan, they learned the monk’s name was Wu Xin, the secular disciple of Master Wang You. Wu Xin was a martial prodigy, reaching the Ground of Freedom Realm at a young age. He later mastered the thirty-two forbidden techniques of the Rakshasa Hall and could use heart demons to invoke others’ inner demons.
Originally, Master Dajue wanted to use a demon-subduing technique to purge the forbidden arts from Wu Xin. But if it worked, Wu Xin would likely become a cripple. Upon learning this, Wu Xin used a tortoise breath technique to enter a death-like state in the golden coffin, offering no resistance. Tang Lian suspected the Demon Sect wanted Wu Xin for his forbidden techniques.
As they spoke, White-Haired Deity returned and easily fended off everyone, even rendering Lei Wujie’s Killing Terror Sword useless. He gazed at Wu Xin, lying on a wooden couch, and lamented how alike he looked. The others were confused by his words. Tang Lian, enduring his injuries, stopped him from taking Wu Xin, when suddenly he heard Wu Xin’s voice in his mind.
Wu Xin remained motionless with closed eyes, but his palm pressed against Tang Lian’s back, secretly transferring inner energy. Following Wu Xin’s instructions, Tang Lian unleashed the move “Ten Thousand Blossoms in the Wind,” sending all his hidden weapons at White-Haired Deity, catching him off guard. In the end, unable to withstand the attack, White-Haired Deity fell off a cliff—while Wu Xin opened his eyes and slowly stood up.
