It's Lin Xichi and Xu Fang's first day as a couple, and she plans to win him over by making him breakfast. Lin Xichi brings ten buns for Xu Fang, who has also prepared breakfast for her - a cake and milk tea. As they eat, Lin Xichi jokingly threatens Xu Fang, saying if he breaks up with her, he'll be cursed. Xu Fang playfully counters, suggesting the curse would also apply to her.
He assures her he'll never abandon her, reassuring Lin Xichi. Afterwards, they meet up with friends, who tease them about their relationship. At the library, Lin Xichi hides behind a book, secretly plotting how to win Xu Fang over. They communicate by passing notes, creating a sweet and intimate atmosphere. When Lin Xichi drinks from Xu Fang's water bottle, she jokingly considers it an indirect kiss, even though she wants their first kiss to be three years away.
Later at the school cafeteria, Xu Fang spots Ye Shaowen approaching. To assert his claim, Xu Fang holds Lin Xichi's face and loudly announces their plan to visit the zoo together. At the zoo, Lin Xichi becomes disheartened seeing the animals caged up. She expresses her love for dogs, admiring their loyalty, which she contrasts with the deceitfulness of humans. However, Xu Fang is different and special to her. Xu Fang notices Lin Xichi is not having fun.
He tells her they don't have to come back if she doesn't like it. Lin Xichi asks Xu Fang what his favorite animal is, and she tells him dogs are her favorite animal. She explains to Xu Fang that they're loyal, but humans know how to lie. Then she tells Xu Fang he's different, he's her Fang Fang. As Valentine's Day approaches, Xu Fang invites Lin Xichi to his home.
Lin Xichi wonders if she should buy something for Xu Fang's parents. She used to visit to get food and gifts. Xu Fang playfully agrees that she has stolen his parents' precious son. When they arrive at Xu Fang's house, his parents welcome Lin Xichi warmly. Xu Fang's mom mentions that she's been waiting for this day, because she's always wanted Lin Xichi to be part of their family.
Looking at photos in Xu Fang's bedroom, Lin Xichi feels like she's always been a part of the family. That night, a sudden snowfall transports them back to their childhood memories. They reminisce about how they were always together, and how they loved to eat snow. They decide to go to their favorite noodle shop to eat Xuecai shredded pork noodles. At the noodle shop, they order the same noodles they always get during snow days.
The lady boss remembers them and gives Xu Fang extra Xuecai. As they eat, they reflect on how much they cherish their friendship. Lin Xichi says the mustard tastes good in the noodles. Xu Fang mentions that the fireworks show has been canceled because of the snow. Xu Fang then buys all the flowers from a flower vendor.
Xu Fang gives Lin Xichi a wrapped gift and tells her that she can keep the password for the rest of her life. He teases her that she can't open it until she knows the password. Outside, Xu Fang leads Lin Xichi closer to him and points to the fireworks, which begin to go off. Amidst the fireworks, Xu Fang unexpectedly kisses Lin Xichi for the first time. Lin Xichi thinks to herself that the things she planned to do in 3 years were all completed in one night. She returns home still processing the kiss.
