After being poisoned, Lin Yueru was unconscious. Li Xiaoyao carried her to a temple to stay for the night. After A Nu woke up, she found Tang Yu sitting by the bed. A Nu always disliked taking medicine, so Sacred Aunt specifically arranged for Tang Yu to take care of her taking the medicine. A Nu seemed to sense that Tang Yu was hiding something from her. Tang Yu thought his identity was exposed.

Actually, what A Nu was talking about was not the same thing. After Bao Pu gained the energy of Ming Wang, he walked into the Demon Locking Tower and requested Ming Wang to let him out to find the Five Spirit Pearls and offer them to him. Ming Wang finally appeared and stated that those who gain his energy become neither human nor ghost, and from then on, they can only be trapped in the Demon Locking Tower for life.

Lin Yueru, harmed by the Purple Poppy, became extremely irritable. Initially, she chased and hit Li Xiaoyao whenever she saw him.
