Su Mu arrived at Tian Tian's door, annoyed that she hadn't made his ice cream the previous night and hadn't answered his calls. Tian Tian, still clearly under the influence, vaguely promised to make up the ice cream later and tried to dismiss him. Just then, a car pulled up outside Su Mu's house. To her surprise, Wang Yanyi emerged. She immediately muttered "jerk" under her breath.
Wang Yanyi was on a phone call with a woman named Shanshan, fabricating excuses for his whereabouts. Tian Tian's audible "jerk" comment was overheard by Shanshan, who began scolding Wang Yanyi on the phone. Wang Yanyi lamented that Tian Tian always seemed to be his jinx. Su Mu questioned Wang Yanyi about how he knew Tian Tian. Wang Yanyi admitted he didn't even know her name, only that she sold ice cream and always "disses him."
Wang Yanyi then pressed Su Mu about his relationship with Tian Tian, to which Su Mu simply stated they were neighbors. Wang Yanyi teased Su Mu, asking if he liked Tian Tian, but Su Mu strongly denied it, remarking that anyone "unlucky enough to like her is cosmically unlucky." Su Mu's intense stare at this comment made Wang Yanyi suspect that Su Mu might actually harbor feelings for Tian Tian. Wang Yanyi then handed Su Mu some blueprints.
That night, Su Mu found himself unable to sleep, haunted by Wang Yanyi's question. The next morning, Tian Tian woke up on her sofa and received a message from Li Di. Remembering her drunken state from the previous night, she decided she would no longer engage with Su Mu, convinced that he was a "gigolo" living in a large villa despite being an ordinary employee. As Tian Tian was leaving, Su Mu appeared, asking for his ice cream.
Still thinking he was a gigolo, Tian Tian sharply told him she would deliver it in two hours before riding off. Su Mu was left confused by her abrupt change in attitude. Later, Mi Ya called Su Mu, informing him that the data for their project was complete and the flight test was successful with "zero deviation."
She also mentioned that Hui Zi would bring the previous client and Liu Tai from the exterior design company would attend the upcoming beach banquet, where her and Su Mu's relationship would be officially announced. At the ice cream shop, Tang Mumu noticed Tian Tian's low spirits, remarking that her astrological signs indicated good fortune and a "peach blossom aura." Tian Tian, however, disagreed, saying nothing good was happening.
Despite her earlier resolve, Tian Tian made an ice cream for Su Mu and asked Tang Mumu to deliver it later, as she had other deliveries. Su Mu received the ice cream from a delivery person. On her delivery route, Tian Tian again spotted Wang Yanyi, this time with a girl named Xiao Ai. Wang Yanyi was trying to impress Xiao Ai by claiming he was feeling sick and had just come from the hospital.
While Wang Yanyi was in the restroom, Tian Tian seized the opportunity to approach Xiao Ai. Introducing herself as Wang Yanyi's doctor, she cryptically advised Xiao Ai to tell Wang Yanyi to "take care of his private life" because his "disease is very contagious." Upon returning, Wang Yanyi was promptly doused with a splash of water by an angry Xiao Ai, who called him a "jerk."
Tian Tian then joined Li Di to help design a marriage proposal for a friend's brother. The brother shared his own romantic story, which instantly inspired Tian Tian. She eagerly offered to draw the backdrop for the proposal. Meanwhile, Su Mu visited the ice cream shop. Tang Mumu, curious about his connection to Tian Tian, asked about their relationship. Su Mu maintained it was "just about ice cream."
He then declared his intention to buy all the ice cream in the shop, knowing Tang Mumu couldn't manage the large order alone. Tang Mumu called Tian Tian for help, but Tian Tian, engrossed in the proposal preparations, said she couldn't return and instructed Tang Mumu to make as much as she could. Su Mu paid for all the ice cream but left without taking any, much to Tang Mumu's exasperation, who felt she was caught in their "quarrel."
While Tian Tian was busy drawing, Li Di accidentally spilled their paint. An elderly man nearby, observing their predicament, kindly offered them some paint from his home. The old man, seeing Li Di and Tian Tian together, asked if Tian Tian was Li Di's older sister. Li Di quickly clarified that they were "very good boyfriend-girlfriend" and not siblings. The old man reminded them to inform him when the proposal would take place.
At Wei Lai Aviation, Mi Ya announced Su Mu's successful flight test and planned a celebratory party for the following night, putting Wang Yanyi in charge. Despite the achievement, Su Mu appeared visibly unhappy, admitting he felt "under too much pressure" recently. Tian Tian received a call from her mother, who unexpectedly announced that she and Tian Tian's father had returned early from their trip.
Tian Tian rushed to pick them up, and Li Di offered to drive her, as his phone had died. His friends grumbled about him abandoning them. Su Mu later asked Wang Yanyi for a favor. Wang Yanyi visited the ice cream shop, asking about an "Ex-Boyfriend Yogurt" before ordering a "Qi Shu You Yu." He then revealed his true purpose: to find a dessert vendor for Wei Lai Aviation's anniversary party.
He required cold drinks and desserts for approximately 200 people, offering Tang Mumu an "irresistible price" that would surpass a month's worth of profit. He instructed her to bring samples by tomorrow morning, or they would seek another vendor. Before leaving, Wang Yanyi gave Tang Mumu a flirtatious wink. Tang Mumu immediately tried to call Tian Tian, but her phone was off. On the drive home, Tian Tian's mother praised Tian Tian's creative input for the proposal.
She then recounted Tian Tian's father's memorable proposal story, which involved him running through a street lined with firecrackers to reach her, ending up comically singed but endearing. The parents also disclosed that their early return was due to Tian Tian's father getting drunk and accidentally entering the wrong hotel room, causing a commotion that led him to become a "hotel celebrity" and too embarrassed to remain.
Tian Tian's mother advised Li Di to be careful with alcohol, highlighting Tian Tian's father's low tolerance. Upon their arrival home, Li Di dropped Tian Tian and her parents off. Su Mu, observing the scene, got out of his car and watched with a disheartened expression as Li Di reminded Tian Tian about the proposal plans for the next day. Tian Tian's mother briefly noticed Su Mu, finding him vaguely familiar, before Tian Tian ushered her parents inside.
