Li Weiwei awoke, hazy from drink, and mistook the person beside her for Huo Xiao. She questioned why he was being silly, insisting they were just best friends and couldn't possibly get married. Chen Yidu had recorded her drunken declarations on his phone. The following morning, Li Weiwei woke up in a hotel room wearing a bathrobe, with no memory of the previous night.

After hotel staff informed her that Chen Yidu had booked the room, she believed he had taken advantage of her. She immediately stormed into D. U. Corporation, accusing Chen Yidu of being a wolf in sheep's clothing who took advantage of her while she was drunk. Chen Yidu, in response, showed her a video on his phone, revealing her drunken antics from the night before. Seeing her embarrassing behavior, she quickly retreated in shame.

Back at Ling Long, Li Weiwei confessed to Huo Xiao about her struggle to come up with new designs due to her amnesia. She then playfully pushed the burden onto Huo Xiao. Huo Xiao secretly instructed his secretary, Ouye, to find a suitable design from another designer to pass off as Li Weiwei's. However, Li Weiwei later completed a design in her dream.

Although it was just a dream, she quickly drew the design from memory and gave the draft to Lao Wan for sampling. This is how Li Weiwei created her final showpiece design, "Beginner's Mind," from a dream. Ling Long’s internal investigation soon revealed that designer assistant Yin Lei was responsible for leaking the news about the plagiarism. It was also discovered that Tiffany of D. U. Corporation was the mastermind behind the leak.

This crisis left Chen Yidu besieged by reporters, who accused him of unethical business practices. Just as he struggled to respond, Mo Fan, a renowned investor recently returned from Wall Street and a long-time friend of Chen Yidu, arrived. Mo Fan skillfully diverted the reporters, stating his intention to invest in suitable companies and expressing significant interest in D. U. , despite the recent negative publicity.

Later, Chen Yidu shared the truth about the plagiarism with Mo Fan, explaining that Li Weiwei's design, "Beginner's Mind," was a collaborative work they created together and she did not have independent rights to use it commercially. Mo Fan questioned whether protecting Li Weiwei was worth potentially ruining D. U.’ s reputation, especially given their past falling out. Mo Fan suggested that the upcoming press conference would be an opportune moment for Chen Yidu to reveal the truth.

Separately, Tiffany admitted to Chen Yidu that she orchestrated Yin Lei to gather damaging information on Li Weiwei and leak it to the media. She offered to hold a press conference the following morning to take full responsibility, assuring him she would not implicate him or D. U. Chen Yidu found himself in a dilemma, unwilling to damage D. U.' s reputation but also reluctant to destroy Li Weiwei's career.

He confronted Li Weiwei at Ling Long, demanding to know why she had used "Beginner's Mind" for commercial gain, reminding her it was a design they had created together, meant only for them. Still suffering from amnesia, Li Weiwei was confused and had no idea what he was talking about, as "Beginner's Mind" to her was merely a creation from a dream. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Li Weiwei then confronted Huo Xiao, who hesitantly confirmed their past collaboration.

Overwhelmed by the realization that she had plagiarized Chen Yidu's work and had previously cursed him, she immediately sought to apologize to Chen Yidu. Chen Yidu, however, looked at her as if she were an alien and, after questioning why she hadn't mentioned her amnesia, coldly shut the door on her sincere apology. Determined to make amends, Li Weiwei spent the entire night outside Chen Yidu's car, eventually falling ill with a fever.

The following morning, Chen Yidu discovered the feverish Li Weiwei. Despite her weakened state, Li Weiwei was resolute in her decision to personally attend the press conference and bravely confess her act of plagiarism. At the scheduled press conference, when reporters surrounded Li Weiwei after learning the truth, Chen Yidu appeared. He announced to the reporters that the entire "plagiarism" incident was, in fact, a pre-planned promotional stunt jointly orchestrated by Ling Long and D. U.

to unveil their upcoming collaboration. He explained that "Beginner's Mind" was indeed a collaborative work between him and Li Weiwei from five years ago, and this event served as an opportunity to launch their second collaboration, with the next season's new collection to be jointly released by D. U. and Ling Long. His intervention effectively saved Li Weiwei’s career and reputation. Following this dramatic turn of events, Li Weiwei was assigned to work at D. U.

Group as part of the collaboration. At home, she diligently researched D. U. Group's personnel relationships, discovering that Tiffany's real name was Tian Jinfeng, and that Tiffany had unrequited feelings for Chen Yidu for many years and was still single. Li Weiwei laughed, proclaiming that she wouldn't want the expressionless Chen Yidu even if he were given to her for free. On her first day at D. U.

, Li Weiwei was assigned cleaning duties, and Tiffany deliberately tried to prank her. Unfazed, Li Weiwei retaliated by loudly calling Tiffany by her birth name, Tian Jinfeng, throughout the office. Chen Yidu's secretary found Li Weiwei to be different from before, but Chen Yidu remarked that she was still as vindictive as ever.
