After Chen Yidu ended their relationship, Leo and Tiffany, returning from a sweet date, heard Li Weiwei crying uncontrollably at home. Leo rushed in to comfort her, and Li Weiwei revealed her heartbreak. Upon learning of her heartbreak, Leo was furious at Chen Yidu's actions, but Li Weiwei cautioned him against intervening aggressively. Leo and Tiffany then confronted Chen Yidu, demanding to know the truth behind the breakup, but he only replied with "no comment."
They then pressed Cao Zhong for answers. Cao Zhong revealed that Chen Yidu had asked him to drive to Jie Xin Garden to meet Huo Xiao the previous morning, and Chen Yidu had been "not okay" ever since. Earlier, Li Weiwei had sarcastically commented on Huo Ruiyong's fashion style, which he took as an insult and vowed revenge. He later confronted her with numerous customer complaint forms, using them to find fault with her.
Huo Xiao intervened and defended Li Weiwei. To resolve the dispute, Huo Xiao voluntarily deducted his own salary, which finally appeased Huo Ruiyong. Tiffany concluded that Huo Xiao must have used Li Weiwei's amnesia to blackmail Chen Yidu into ending their relationship. Leo vehemently agreed, calling Huo Xiao a "beast in human clothing" for such despicable tactics, and vowed to deal with him personally.
Leo and Tiffany then split up; Tiffany went to speak with Chen Yidu, while Leo informed Li Weiwei of the situation. Tiffany directly confronted Chen Yidu, arguing that his decision to break up would only cause Li Weiwei more pain. Chen Yidu defended his actions, retorting by asking what he should do, should he just watch Li Weiwei become the laughing stock of the fashion world and be unhappy?
Simultaneously, Leo recounted the entire chain of events to Li Weiwei, who, upon understanding, had an idea. Li Weiwei then went to a place where she and Huo Xiao often met. Huo Xiao, having already ordered roasted chicken hearts for her, was waiting in high spirits.
She confronted him, starting by sarcastically praising his acting, then telling him she thought she knew him but now realized she had always misunderstood him, accusing him of using her amnesia to threaten Chen Yidu into breaking up with her. Huo Xiao explained that it was all because he loved her too much. Li Weiwei angrily denounced him, saying he was no longer the Huo Xiao she knew but had become a devil.
Li Weiwei returned home, crying profusely and with her makeup smudged. Unable to vent her anger, she could only cry, curse, and smash objects continuously. Tiffany and Cao Zhong continuously nagged Chen Yidu, hoping to enlighten his stubborn self to reclaim his happiness. Chen Yidu maintained his usual poker face, found them noisy, and left them by the roadside, telling them to take a taxi to the venue themselves.
The annual Clothing Industry Guild meeting commenced, with Ms. Gedia invited to attend as the awards presenter. Li Weiwei of Ling Long bridal wear was announced as the recipient of the "Outstanding Contribution Award for the Year." What everyone didn't expect was that Li Weiwei used her acceptance speech to reveal her amnesia, personally confessing that she had lost seven years of her memory due to a drowning accident the previous year, forgetting all her experiences since entering the industry.
She apologized for not disclosing this information sooner, explaining that while the amnesia was not her choice, her delayed transparency required an apology. This public revelation effectively eliminated Huo Xiao's leverage over her. After her announcement, Li Weiwei left the venue. Immediately after the announcement, Li Weiwei took a taxi and sped off. Leo exaggerated to Chen Yidu that Li Weiwei cried when she left, saying she had lost both love and career, appearing utterly hopeless.
Chen Yidu quickly hailed a cab and pursued her. Ms. Gedia confronted Huo Xiao, sternly informing him that due to their concealment of Li Weiwei's true condition, Ling Long's integrity was compromised. Consequently, she declared that Ling Long bridal wear would no longer be considered for entry into Fontaine Bleue Department Store.
Chen Yidu chased Li Weiwei all the way to a hotel, frantically running to the rooftop where he found only a pair of high heels by the railing, leaving him distraught and fearing the worst. Just then, Li Weiwei emerged, having played a trick to make him understand the pain she felt when he broke up with her. She confronted him, asking if he now knew what it felt like to be stabbed.
She warned him that if he ever dared to propose breaking up again, she had many ways to deal with him. Chairman Huo was greatly shocked upon learning of Li Weiwei's amnesia. Huo Ruiyong seized the opportunity to add fuel to the fire.
Though Huo Xiao detailed Li Weiwei's contributions, Huo Ruiyong argued that the single mistake of causing Ling Long bridal wear to lose its entry into Fontaine Bleue Department Store could offset any achievements, and no matter what, Li Weiwei could not remain with the company.
