> The Seven Relics of ill Omen Recap

Luo Ren found Lian Shu’s car, and the three of them split up to search for Mu Dai. In the end, they found Lian Shu sitting on the ground, badly injured. Luo Ren instructed Cao Yanhua to take the amber back, while he and Thirteen-Thousand stayed behind to continue looking for Mu Dai. Lian Shu said that the first time she met Luo Ren, she had a strange feeling—one that made her afraid.

Later, when she met his friends, she felt the same. She took the initiative to approach Uncle Zheng and the others, and somehow, she found herself drawn to the room on the second floor. After that, an idea suddenly formed in her mind: to hang Mu Dai. Lian Shu said with a bit of fear that when she hung Mu Dai up, Mu Dai suddenly changed, broke free from the ropes, and rushed at her to attack.

After the Heart Relic merged, the water image reappeared—it was the plantain courtyard that had been set on fire. Thirteen-Thousand said he had seen many paintings in the cave, depicting scenes of Lian Shu’s mother playing with her and the little wild man. Lian Shu said she was the one who had taught the little wild man to paint. Only when she acted friendly would her mother let her play with the wild child alone.

Later, Lian Shu faked poisoning so the little wild man would take her into the village. As soon as she entered, she started screaming, causing the villagers to drive the wild child out. This was exactly like Thirteen-Thousand’s experience with the wild man. Thirteen-Thousand broke down emotionally. He let go of Lian Shu and said she didn’t deserve to have such a good mother and sister.

Luo Ren frantically searched for Mu Dai and got into a serious car accident on the way. On the ground was Mu Dai’s cat hair tie. Mu Dai was wheeled into the ICU after being discharged from the emergency room. After she woke up, she checked herself out of the hospital. Luo Ren quickly called Thirteen-Thousand, who told him that Uncle Zhang had left a note saying he and the landlady were going on a trip.

Luo Ren found Huo Zihong at a psychological clinic in Huacheng. Huo Zihong said that when Mu Dai was fifteen, she once skipped class with her best friend Shen Wen to watch a movie. On the way, they encountered some thugs. Eventually, Huo Zihong and Shen Wen’s mother found Shen Wen’s body at an abandoned construction site, and Mu Dai had fallen from a building and was unconscious.

Although the thugs were sentenced, the Shen family was relentless and blamed everything on Mu Dai. Since Mu Dai had suffered a head injury, her memory of what happened was vague, and she couldn’t defend herself. Later, Huo Zihong and Mu Dai moved, and for eight years they sought medical treatment everywhere. Mu Dai’s case was rather unique. Following a doctor’s advice, Huo Zihong installed surveillance in Mu Dai’s room.

Luo Ren saw footage of Mu Dai switching between personalities and then recovering. The doctor explained that this wasn’t a case of multiple personalities, but a personality split triggered by trauma. To adapt to society, White Mu Dai remained dominant in daily life. But when her body faced extreme danger and pain, Black Mu Dai would awaken for self-preservation. Now, Black Mu Dai was back. Cao Yanhua began seeing visions again—a dark red cave filled with threads of blood.

After discussing with Thirteen-Thousand, they shared the situation with Luo Ren. Black Mu Dai could access White Mu Dai’s memories, but emotionally, the reactions were different. Once prepared, Luo Ren went to see Mu Dai. Mu Dai was cold this time. Luo Ren became the one offering comfort. He said that watching the movie and taking the shortcut weren’t her ideas.

She covered for Shen Wen during their escape, and Shen Wen had come back to save her, which is why she died. Mu Dai denied Luo Ren’s version of events, insisting that she had deliberately provoked those thugs. White Mu Dai might not remember clearly, but Black Mu Dai remembered everything. Luo Ren was shocked—Black Mu Dai hadn’t emerged only after the incident. Black Mu Dai scorned Luo Ren’s talk of opening up and facing things together.

She pointed out that he was full of secrets himself and had already noticed something was wrong with her but chose to ignore it. Seeing that Luo Ren was still wearing the bracelet, Black Mu Dai said she had long thrown hers away. White Mu Dai would never return, and she could do just fine on her own.
