> Princess Silver Recap

Rong Le awoke from a troubled sleep, haunted by a dream where Wu You's face transformed into Rong Qi's. Shaken, she tried to convince herself that it could not be Rong Qi, for he had treated her so cruelly. Despite her fears, she silently resolved to face any future danger alone for the sake of Wu You and their unborn child. Elsewhere, Wu Yu searched for Ke'er, who had asked him to meet.

Ke'er surprised him by stepping out and immediately declaring her love and desire to marry him. She explained her philosophy that every day lived was a gain, especially after learning of Princess Rong Le's precarious situation, which highlighted how easily fate can end. Wanting to waste no more time, she confessed her feelings, adding that even if Wu Yu did not reciprocate, she would feel better for having spoken her heart.

Moved, Wu Yu embraced her, confessing his own love and promising to protect her, vowing they would certainly be together. Meanwhile, Wu You returned to his chamber, only to find Rong Le gone. A servant informed him that she had left on urgent matters, refusing an escort and specifically instructing them not to inform him.

He found a wood carving Rong Le had made and reflected on it, expressing a harsh internal monologue, declaring that he would no longer wait and that upon her return, they would see who was more ruthless. Independently, Xiang Ying sought out Rong Le, presenting her with a wind bell that Hen Xiang had given him, claiming she would understand its meaning.

Rong Le, recognizing this as a potential clue to her forgotten past, decided to accompany Xiang Ying to meet Hen Xiang, hoping it would be her only chance to uncover her true identity. Xiang Ying also revealed that Hen Xiang was Qin Yong’s daughter, Qin Xiang. In a separate inquiry, Fu Chou ordered his attendant Chang Jian to locate a maidservant who had accompanied Empress Fu Yuan over two decades ago.

The maid, who had been banished for a mistake before Empress Fu Yuan was sent to the Cold Harem, had survived by living under a false name. Fu Chou confronted her, asserting he was Fu Yuan's son. The maid initially claimed ignorance but under duress, recounted the history. She explained that Empress Fu, then the Princess of Chen, had insisted on marrying Zongzheng Yunhe. Through this marriage, Zongzheng Yunhe gained favor and military power from the Emperor of Chen.

He then conspired with Rong Yi, the Emperor of Western Qi, to dismantle Chen, dividing the empire into Northern Lin and Western Qi. Following this, Zongzheng Yunhe invited Rong Yi to Zhongshan for an alliance. However, during the meeting, Rong Yi became infatuated with Lady Yun, Zongzheng Yunhe's beloved since youth. Unable to refuse Rong Yi without jeopardizing his newly established Northern Lin, Zongzheng Yunhe cruelly fed Empress Fu Yuan poison and delivered her to Rong Yi.

Viewing Empress Fu Yuan as a reminder of his past humiliation for surrendering to Chen, Zongzheng Yunhe then had her banished to the Cold Harem, killing all her servants and forcing her to consume a powerful toxin called the Destined Poison to erase her memories and conceal his deceit. Upon hearing this horrific account, Fu Chou, recalling Rong Qi’s past insinuation that he did not know his true enemy, furiously overturned a table.

Realizing that Rong Qi might be the only one who truly knew the full truth, Fu Chou instructed his attendant to send a secret letter to the Emperor of Western Qi. Rong Le met Hen Xiang, who immediately asked Xiang Ying to leave so they could speak privately. Before they could begin, Hen Xiang's young child, Nian, began to cry.

Rong Le gently took the child into her arms, and Nian immediately quieted, impressing Hen Xiang, who noted Rong Le's calming presence and her own pregnancy. Hen Xiang expressed her hope that their children would grow up safely, unlike their own rootless lives. She then probed Rong Le, asking if she had visited the old Qin family manor, which had become Yu's family fort, and if she was the woman Rong Le had fought in the secret room there.

Rong Le, now holding the wind bell, inquired if it was a gift to Hen Xiang. Hen Xiang then confirmed her identity as Qin Xiang, a daughter of Qin Yong, and revealed that the Qin family had another daughter named Qin Man. Rong Le shared her recurring dreams since arriving in Northern Lin—of two young girls playing on a swing, sitting on wooden horses, and reciting poems.

As they spoke, they recalled a specific poem, "The Grace of Emperor Wen," taught to them by their father, who had believed his daughters were not inferior to sons. They recited the verses together, a profound moment that confirmed Rong Le was indeed Qin Man, Qin Xiang’s long-lost sister. Overwhelmed, Hen Xiang later brought Rong Le to the spirit tablets of their parents, tearfully announcing that she had finally brought her sister home.

Rong Le, needing time to make a crucial decision regarding their child's future, left a letter for Wu You, informing him she would be away for a while and requesting he not search for her, promising they would reunite upon her return. Upon learning of Rong Le's departure and her fragile state, Wu You grew concerned, fearing she might end her life.

He dispatched people to search for her, while also instructing Wu Yu to find Ke'er, suspecting Rong Le might seek Ke'er's medical help and want her to keep secrets. Meanwhile, Hen Xiang urged Rong Le to stay with her, offering to send word to the royal manor to ease their worries. However, Rong Le declined, reiterating that she had already informed Wu You not to look for her.

Rong Le then gently pressed Hen Xiang about her life since their separation, acknowledging the solemnity in Hen Xiang's eyes when she looked at her child. Hen Xiang admitted that the Creed of Vengeance had twisted her into a fearsome person, causing her to betray her father’s hopes and even harm Rong Le in the past.

She also lamented that she had not yet avenged their parents against the Northern Lin royal family, regretting her past hesitation to kill Zongzheng Yunhe, who she now knew had died by another's hand. Rong Le comforted her, pointing out that Zongzheng Yunhe himself was a victim of fate, having unknowingly treated his own son as an enemy. She then revealed the shocking truth: Fu Chou and Wu You were twin brothers, both sons of Lady Yun.

Rong Le explained that the Qin family's annihilation, their separation, and Rong Le's memory loss were all machinations of Fu Yuan and the Creed of Vengeance—their true enemies. Hen Xiang was devastated by this revelation, heartbroken that her life's vengeful purpose had been built on a lie and deeply worried about how Fu Chou would cope with such a truth.

Rong Le encouraged Hen Xiang to consider taking her child to meet Fu Chou, but Hen Xiang firmly refused, declaring their bond broken and asserting her desire to live independently, content now that she had found her sister. Unbeknownst to them, Fu Yuan continued her intricate schemes.

Despite Rong Qi's defiance and his newfound desire for freedom from revenge, Fu Yuan planned to pit Wu You and Fu Chou against each other, ready to use a life as a bargaining chip. Lin Shen confirmed to Fu Yuan that Wu You had received half of the medical book, providing him with the means to understand how to neutralize the poison.

Fu Yuan coldly stated her desire for Wu You to experience the same suffering she endured, fearing only Rong Qi could disrupt her grand spectacle. During this time, Xiang Ying covertly retrieved Ke'er from the royal manor, informing her that Princess Rong Le had been unconscious for a full day due to a relapse and requesting her discreet medical assistance without alerting Wu You. Their secret departure was intercepted by Wu Yu.

Back at Hen Xiang's residence, Hen Xiang was distressed by Rong Le’s continued unconsciousness. When Rong Le finally woke, she reassured Hen Xiang that she was merely experiencing hypersomnia due to her pregnancy. However, Hen Xiang, drawing on her experience with the Creed of Vengeance, saw through the lie, discerning that Rong Le was gravely ill. Rong Le then confessed the dire choice she faced: sacrificing her child for her own survival or vice versa.

Despite Hen Xiang's pleas for Rong Le to prioritize her own life, Rong Le firmly refused to risk their child. Rong Le then urged Hen Xiang to fetch her some food, wanting to be alone. From outside the window, Wu You observed Rong Le. He left instructions for others to guard her, his decision to stay away driven by Rong Le's fear of yielding to him and potentially jeopardizing their child's life if they met.

Wu You, increasingly suspicious, questioned Xiao Sha about Rong Qi's potential involvement in Rong Le's poisoning. Xiao Sha admitted he did not know but revealed that Rong Qi had secretly fed Rong Le his own blood when she fainted in Chen, and the only known cure for her mysterious illness originated in Western Qi.

Wu You recalled Rong Qi's previous attempts to take Rong Le to Western Qi, pondering his true intentions and how Qin Man had come to be known as Rong Le, the Elder Princess of Western Qi. Wuxiangzi offered to lead members of The Hidden Ones to Western Qi to investigate the enigmatic Emperor Rong Qi, believing he was surely connected to the Destined Poison, and to search for alternative cures.

Wu You agreed, resolving to protect his late teacher's daughter, Qin Man, at all costs. Back at the residence, Hen Xiang returned, having sought out a physician for Rong Le, but Rong Le playfully chastised her for bringing someone with a "loose tongue." Rong Le then observed Xiang Ying, who had brought Ke'er earlier, and encouraged him to pursue Hen Xiang. Moments later, as Rong Le was left alone, Rong Qi appeared. He directly addressed her condition, confirming she was afflicted with the Destined Poison, and asserted that he alone possessed the complete antidote, insisting she accompany him for treatment.
