Ran Zishu and Lu Ming moved in next door to Youyou and Yi Han. Youyou asked Ran Zishu why she wasn't working, and Ran Zishu explained that the producers of the film "Remaining Life" were planning to replace Yi Han. She strongly opposed this and went to protest to Director Lin, even threatening to quit if Yi Han was replaced. There, she witnessed Lin Tiannuo in a heated argument with the investors.

Lin Tiannuo argued that after more than half a month of shooting, the cast and crew had developed an undeniable belief in the story and characters, and replacing the lead now would severely impact the creative process. The producers countered that Yi Han's recent troubles and negative publicity would hurt ticket sales. Lin Tiannuo dismissed Yi Han's dating as a personal matter unrelated to the film's success and declared that if Yi Han was replaced, he would also quit.

Hearing Ran Zishu recount this, Yi Han was surprised and touched by how much Lin Tiannuo valued him. The film's production was completely halted due to Lin Tiannuo’s firm stance, which allowed Ran Zishu and Lu Ming the time to move. Ran Zishu explained she quickly purchased the unit next to Youyou's after visiting, as she liked the layout and the neighborly environment.

When Lu Ming suggested selling their unit due to worries about Yi Han's sponsors terminating contracts and seeking compensation, Youyou and Yi Han quickly dismissed the idea. Later, Youyou and Yi Han decided to invite Lin Tiannuo for dinner to express their gratitude, acknowledging that the production halt likely affected him the most. Initially, Yi Han believed Lin Tiannuo's actions were purely professional, stemming from losing an indispensable actor for a serious project, not out of personal regard for him.

They settled on a cost-effective hotpot dinner on the rooftop, valuing the good air circulation and privacy. Lin Tiannuo joined Youyou, Yi Han, Ran Zishu, and Lu Ming for the hotpot. Yi Han poured wine and proposed a toast to "Remaining Life." As the evening progressed, everyone became quite drunk. Yi Han and Lin Tiannuo got into a drunken argument about the film and each other's competence.

Yi Han, in his inebriated state, also expressed his possessiveness of Youyou, warning Lin Tiannuo to stay away, stating that Lin Tiannuo was only interested in his wife. Eventually, Youyou and Ran Zishu helped their respective partners, Yi Han and Lu Ming, back home, leaving Lin Tiannuo alone by the hotpot. Later that night, as Yi Han lay in bed seemingly asleep, Youyou softly called him "hubby" multiple times. Yi Han, who was secretly awake, heard her.

The next morning, Lin Tiannuo knocked on their door. Yi Han, still in bed, playfully tried to prevent Youyou from answering, urging her to call him "hubby" again. He revealed that the security cameras, which he had "procrastinated" on removing, had recorded her calling him "hubby" and joked about capturing their newlywed memories. Youyou, furious that the cameras were still there, threatened to hit him with a pillow.

By the time they finally got to the door, Lin Tiannuo was gone, having cleaned all the dishes before leaving. Youyou later called Lin Tiannuo to apologize for their behavior. He told her it was fine and, after a pause, wished her "to be happy," revealing that he had been worried about her and Yi Han but was now reassured.

In the following days, Yi Han kept Youyou from going online or visiting her shop, fearing she would be upset by negative comments. Ran Zishu also advised Youyou to avoid social media. Despite Yi Han's efforts, Youyou repeatedly tried to sneak her phone, only to be caught by him. Feeling restless, Youyou secretly went to her shop, "Inspire", after calling the manager. She arrived to find the storefront vandalized with paint, making her feel guilty.

However, her shop manager and colleagues reassured her, expressing their support and loyalty. Yi Han, having anticipated her going to the shop, arrived quickly and caught a man in the act of further defacing the storefront. Youyou suspected the man was hired, a suspicion confirmed when she threatened to call the police, and he confessed everything. The shop manager then called Qingqing, falsely claiming Youyou had been fired and the shop was short-staffed, urging Qingqing to come help.

Qingqing, sounding delighted, readily agreed. After Youyou reassured him she could handle the situation, Yi Han left. When Sun Qingqing arrived, Youyou directly confronted her, revealing her knowledge of Qingqing's involvement in the vandalism. Youyou explained that despite Qingqing's cunning use of e-commerce and chat to hide her identity and use third-party transfers, the police could still trace her. She offered Qingqing a choice: pay for the damages and promise to stop, or face legal consequences.

Sun Qingqing admitted she wanted to see Youyou and Yi Han fall from grace. Meanwhile, Yi Han released a sincere apology letter to the public, admitting he was "young and reckless, defeated by true love." He confessed to his previous deception and apologized, which significantly softened public opinion. Kan Di, witnessing this positive turn, believed she had found a way to further reassure advertisers.

She took security footage from Youyou and Yi Han's home and edited a video for public release. The released home videos, showcasing sweet and clumsy moments between Youyou and Yi Han, became an instant hit online. Viewers praised their compatibility, calling Yi Han "Ylut Han the klutz" but manly, and Youyou "cute," solidifying widespread support for the couple and further enhancing Yi Han's public image.

Though Yi Han playfully complained about the "klutz" nickname, Kan Di explained it helped shed his previous aloof image and showcased his genuine self. With Yi Han's reputation on the rise, Youyou decided to take charge of their finances, implementing a strict budget. She divided Yi Han's money into three parts: investments managed by Kan Di, a fund for social activities (including gifts, elder care, and post-marriage expenses), and daily expenses.

She set a daily allowance of ¥200 for weekdays and ¥500 for weekends, a significant increase from her previous ¥50-80 daily budget. Yi Han found this amusing, remarking that it was the first time in his life he felt like "a mob boss's lover." Just as they were enjoying a meal together, Youyou received an urgent phone call from the shop manager, who exclaimed, "something is wrong!"
