Qin Yeyun came to see Cherry, and both of them were very happy. Qin Yeyun had become even more beautiful after starting university. Cherry took her to eat in the school cafeteria, and the other boys couldn’t help but look at her. Cherry thought Qin Yeyun had come not just to see her but also to meet Yu Qiao, so she wanted to invite Yu Qiao to eat together. However, Qin Yeyun refused.
She took Cherry to the mall to buy goods because she ran an online clothing store. This time, she was also planning to bring some clothes back for restocking. The two of them worked together and managed to get the clothes at a relatively low price. They bought drinks and happily celebrated. Cherry wanted to call Yu Qiao out to eat together, but Qin Yeyun turned her down again. She told Cherry that she had a boyfriend now.
Cherry was very surprised and kept asking about it. Qin Yeyun explained that the guy had helped her when she started her online shop. After spending time together, they naturally got into a relationship. It was just dating, nothing big, so she hadn’t made a point of telling her. He casually asked about how her savings were going. Once he confirmed that Cherry really intended to go to Hong Kong during the summer break, he became even more determined to go ahead of her to Hong Kong and find Jiang Qiaoxi. Qin Yeyun happened to pass by a cake shop, saw the bunny cake as well, and bought a piece to bring back. That evening, she and Cherry opened the cakes together.
Cherry was surprised by how in sync Qin Yeyun and Yu Qiao were—they had actually bought the same cake. Cherry and Qin Yeyun switched cakes, and she gave Qin Yeyun the one Yu Qiao had picked out. Yu Qiao managed to get in touch with one of Jiang Qiaoxi’s students. He proved his identity and finally gained the student’s trust. Later, Yu Qiao secretly went to Hong Kong to look for Jiang Qiaoxi. The student met with Yu Qiao.
Although her parents didn’t want her to reveal any information about Jiang Qiaoxi, the girl felt that Jiang Qiaoxi was very unhappy. Maybe seeing a friend would help him cheer up. Following the address she gave him, Yu Qiao found Jiang Qiaoxi in an old and run-down residential building. Jiang Qiaoxi had tanned skin and was playing cards with a few other people. He asked the others to leave and kept only Yu Qiao.
Yu Qiao didn’t know what had happened to Jiang Qiaoxi, but he had just disappeared like that, hurting Cherry and breaking everyone’s hearts. Jiang Qiaoxi said he didn’t have the face to see Cherry. He didn’t dare turn on his phone, afraid Cherry would call. Every day, he would only power it on around 4 or 5 in the morning to check the messages she had sent. Yu Qiao was very angry—Jiang Qiaoxi wasn’t disabled, so why was he hiding from everyone?
