Despite his pleas, Ye Lingshuang refused to be swayed, declaring that nothing would stop her from saving Qi Hairui, and intended to seek Yi Wuyou's help in acquiring more Ice Crystals. Unknown to Ye Lingshuang, Yu Xiuming also exhibited similar red marks.
He secretly summoned Yun Wen, who confirmed that these were the backlash from the time-traveling passage, magnified for Yu Xiuming due to his past connection to a Truth Master.
