She expressed disappointment that her father didn't want her to go with him, as she had wanted to design a butterfly piece to find inspiration. Gao Hai promised to bring her a whole book of butterfly drawings next time. Meanwhile, at Rui Hua's Custom Order Group, Gao Jie was collaborating with the masters on a brooch design. The masters initially maintained a cold demeanor, reminding her that they had no strong allies and could only look after themselves.
One master even stated that Rui Hua had no spare resources to raise "ungrateful wolves." Grandma, while acknowledging Gao Jie's talent, expressed concern, reminding Zheng that Gao Jie and Mu Ziyun had betrayed Rui Hua. She believed that putting Gao Jie back in the Custom Order Group would be like setting a "time bomb" within the company, emphasizing that Rui Hua's stability was paramount.
Yu Yi, having received payment for his Hui Xin series, prepared to redeem his pledged shares. Yu Zhi then approached him with a budget plan for President Lei's brooch, intended for an overseas exhibition, asking for his signature. Yu Yi refused, claiming the expense was not part of Rui Hua's recent project and accusing Yu Zhi of operating behind his back and showing "second thoughts" towards him.
Yu Zhi calmly stated he knew Yu Yi's concerns, reiterating that he never intended to take what belonged to his brother, including the inheritance of Rui Hua, but recognized that he couldn't overcome Yu Yi's suspicion. Unable to reproduce her supposed masterpiece, she had implicitly revealed her plagiarism. Gao Hui was furious, accusing Yu Zhi of always finding reasons to excuse Gao Jie.
